Trenton, New Jersey, July 1, 2006 The announced that adequate public notice has been provided to the public specifying the time and place for this meeting in accordance with Chapter 231, P.L. 1975, approved on October 21, 1975 and effective January 19, 1976. The agenda for the said meeting was mailed, posted and filed on June 29, 2006. The Inauguration of the Mayor and Members of City Council and the Organizational Meeting of the City Council of the City of Trenton, 1950, Chapter 210, as amended by R.S. 40:69A-1, et seq., and R.S. 19:1-1, et seq., was held at 12:00 noon at the City Hall Plaza, City Hall, Trenton, New Jersey. The meeting was called to order by the Clerk, and, on roll call, the following answered present: Messrs. Bethea, Coston, Ms. Lartigue, Messrs. Melone, Pintella, Segura, Ms. Staton -7. The declared a quorum present. The then introduced Reverend Jeffrey Lee, of the Parish Community of Our Lady of the Angels, who delivered the invocation. The then led the pledge of allegiance to the flag. The presented Melda Grant, who sang The Star Spangled Banner. The following Certificate of Election was read by the : To: The City Council of the City of Trenton, New Jersey. TAKE NOTICE THAT a Municipal Election was held in the City of Trenton, in the County of Mercer, State of New Jersey, on the ninth day of May, in the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand and Six; such election designated to elect a Mayor. TAKE NOTICE THAT a Municipal Election was held in the City of Trenton, in the County of Mercer, State of New Jersey, on the ninth day of May, in the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand and Six; such election designated to elect three Councilpersons at Large, and One Ward Councilperson for each of the West, North, East and South Wards in the City of Trenton. The then read the following Certificate of Election of City Council members: To: The City Council of the City of Trenton, New Jersey: TAKE NOTICE THAT a Municipal Runoff Election was mandated and held on Tuesday, June 13, 2006, inasmuch as no candidate received the statutory majority vote for the offices of Councilman at Large, Councilman from the South Ward, respectively at such Municipal Election held on May 9, 2006. I DO FURTHER CERTIFY THAT, in the Municipal Runoff Election held on Tuesday, June 13, 2006, the following candidates received the greatest number of votes, respectively, and have been elected to the following offices: COUNCILMAN AT LARGE Paul M.
