CERTIFICATION OF COMPLIANCE WITH OPEN MEETING LAW Posted January 11, 2019 at 2:45 PM. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Property Committee Regular meeting, December 18, 2018 @ 4:30 PM Moved by Supervisor Nelson/seconded by Supervisor Nennig to approve minutes as presented; motion carried. REVIEW AND APPROVE VOUCHERS Moved by Supervisor Hilbelink/seconded by Supervisor Nelson to approve all vouchers as presented; motion carried. CORRESPONDENCE Aging & Disability Resource Center Trespassing Issues A landscape firm used driveway that accesses gardens on east side of building. In the process, rutted up grassed area then parked trailer on County property. Initially the City of Sheboygan Falls Assessor gave him permission as he thought the City of Sheboygan Falls owned the property. Aided by the Sheboygan Falls Police Department, tracked down landscaper who promised to make good the property damage in spring. Weather Related Building Leaks Recent rains caused issues with Administration Building 2 nd Floor office windows on the south side, NCRS offices in the Aging and Disability Resource Center south windows and Branch 2 Jury Room in the Courthouse. All areas will be address in 2019. 7Penn Apartments Handed out rendering of future development. 2018 Annual Report Input Stress the need to hire an Assistant Director for the Department. PUBLIC INPUT AND COMMENTS ON AGENDA ITEMS LIMITED TO TWO (2) MINUTES None. BUILDING SERVICES Consideration of Project Expenditure Approval o Operating Budget Proposed projects for 2019 include, Administration Building Snow Guard; Courthouse District Attorney Caulk Windows; Courthouse Annex Fan Coil Replacements (6); Detention Center Kitchen Dish
Sheboygan County Property Committee Meeting January 15, 2019 Page 2 o o Machine Sinks; Detention Center Control Room Counter Tops; Law Enforcement Center Men s Restroom Stalls; and, Taylor Park Shelter Exterior Paint. Capital Outlay includes, Courthouse Inmate Hallway; Health & Human Services Exhaust Fans. 5 Year Plan includes, Aging & Disability Resource Center Building Renovation Completion; Courthouse Boiler Replacement; Detention Center HVAC Control Upgrades; and, Health & Human Services Fire Alarm Upgrade. Moved by Supervisor Ogea/seconded by Supervisor Hilbelink to approved projects as budgeted for in the 2019 budget; motion carried. Project Updates o Aging & Disability Resource Center Upgrades / Veterans Service Relocation On schedule. Anticipate FSA space upgrades to be completed by first week of February. Division of Aging staff move into renovated spaces then upgrades begin on those vacated spaces, anticipated completion date of March 1 st at which time Veterans Service Department shall relocate. o Courthouse Maintenance Garage Warm weather caused approximate three-week delay for crane setup; walls being placed this week. o Courthouse Secure Entrance An auto accident damaged one of the new trees. Insurance paid; plan replacement in spring. Otherwise, project complete. o Courthouse HVAC Control Upgrades Programming began for Courthouse; installation next month or two. o Transportation Complex Working with Rocky Knoll staff on preventative maintenance setup. Received last lien waiver, waiting on one more contractor payment. Exhaust fans for weld shop on order. o Treasurer s Office Security Upgrades Meeting with contractor in near future. Final details being refined. o University of Wisconsin Green Bay Sheboygan Campus Fire Alarm Upgrade Complete; waiting on certification. APPROVAL OF ATTENDANCE AT OTHER MEETINGS OR FUNCTIONS None.
