SUMMARY: The Advisory Committee on Commercial Operations of Customs and Border Protection (COAC) will meet on October 4, 2011, in El Paso, TX. The meeting will be open to the public. As an alternative to on-site attendance, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will also offer a live webcast of the COAC meeting via the Internet. DATE: COAC will meet on Tuesday, October 4, 2011, from 1 pm to 6 pm. Please note that the meeting may close early if the committee has completed its business. Agenda The COAC will meet to review, discuss next steps and formulate recommendations on the following four issues: The work of the Global Supply Chain Security: Land Border Security Initiatives Subcommittee The work of the Role of the Broker, a Broker Revision Project The Center of Excellence and Expertise (CEE) Pilot, Account Executive Pilots and Work of the Simplified Entry and Financial Processing Work Group The work of the One U.S. Government at the Border Subcommittee Prior to the COAC taking action on any of these four issues, members of the public will have an opportunity to provide comments orally or, for comments submitted electronically during the meeting, by reading the comments into the record. The COAC will receive an update and discuss the following CBP Initiatives and Subcommittee issues: Update on the Work of the Air Cargo Security Subcommittee Update on the Work of the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) 4
