The property is zoned A-1, Agricultural District, and solar gardens are a Special Use in that district. Before a Special Use Permit can be approved by the DeKalb County Board, a public hearing must be held before the DeKalb County Hearing Officer. Summit Ridge Energy is requesting approval of a Special Use Permit for the proposed solar gardens on property along Tower Road, Lee. A public hearing will be held before the DeKalb County Hearing Officer on Thursday, July 26, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. in the DeKalb County Administrative Center, Conference Room East, 110 E.
