Reaching 100 years in the life of an organisation is very important landmark. It is not only a national landmark, but it is also a story which people have scripted over period of 100 years by their contribution in many ways. Pranab Mukherjee Former President of India I think 100 years is a long march in the history of an organisation. The fact that this Chambers of Commerce has survived 100 years, speaks of it s glorious relevance. E.S.L.Narasimhan Governor of Telangana and AndhraPradesh About The Federation of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry achieved a significant milestone of completing 100 years of its formation and celebrated Centenary Year in 2017 in the august presence of Sri Pranab Mukherjee, Hon ble President of India and Sri ESL Narasimhan, Hon ble Governor of Telangana & Andhra Pradesh. Established in 1917, this Federation was first conceived as a Chamber of Commerce representing the entire old state of Hyderabad. This included parts of the present Karnataka, Maharashtra as well as all the Telugu-speaking Districts of the old Nizam s dominions. The year 1956 saw the formation of the Linguistic State, Andhra Pradesh, and the name was changed to The Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry in 1958. It started functioning with representation from the entire state. The Federation gradually evolved into an apex organisation representing large, medium and small scale industries and became one of the largest chambers in the Country. After the bifurcation of the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh into two States viz, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh in 2014, the name was altered to The Federation of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (), effective from January 14, 2015. The mandate of the Federation remained the same to serve the interests of the Members of the Federation in both the States.

Our Mission To remain a vibrant Apex Federation, serving as the voice for business, dedicated to shaping policies and procedures, ensure the coordination of business and government resulting in improved economies of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Represents industry to Government on various problems and challenges faced by industry and trade seeking solutions Suggests the government on policy matters, legal issues relating to industry, infrastructure and other matters. Organizes various seminars and conferences, and participates in international events Provides Commercial Arbitration Service for settlement of disputes - National & International. Conducts studies on various subjects related to trade and industry and acts as a Knowledge Chamber.
