Fox, Superintendent, presented a slide show of classroom activities and an update of district news. Ms. Fox also reported on the boiler update, the parental notification system, senior privileges update, cameras on buses and program sharing. Ms. Lewis, Business Administrator, presented a power point presentation regarding the first preliminary budget update. BUDGET STATUS REPORT Motion by Ms. Miller, second by Mr. Lamerand and carried 5-0 to approve as presented the Budget Status Report for Revenues and Expenditures dated January 31, 2009. SC BOCES SCHOOL BOARD CANDIDATE NOMINATION Motion by Ms. Lotz, second by Ms. Miller and carried 5-0 to nominate Mr. Gary Carlson as candidate for a the Sullivan County BOCES School Board for a three year term. TIME CHANGE FOR Motion by Ms. Miller, second by Mr. Lamerand and carried 5-0 BOARD MEETINGS to change the time of board meetings from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. APPROVAL OF CONSENT Motion by Ms. Miller, second by Mr. Lamerand and carried 5-0 AGENDA to approve the consent agenda. EXTRA-CURRICULAR LEAVE REQUEST (SIT MEMBER) LONG-TERM SUBSTITUTE Superintendent, to grant a leave request to Mrs. Selena Ross from the extra-curricular position of SIT Member commencing February 23, 2009 to June 30, 2009. Mrs. Ross will resume her extra-curricular position in September 2009. Superintendent, to appoint Ms. Katlyn McNeil as a long-term substitute commencing February 23, 2009 through June 30, 2009 at the per diem rate of Bachelor s Step 1 of the Teachers Negotiated Contract or $210.73 per day.
