EU/EEA-citizens Registration with the police EU-citizens staying in Norway for more than 3 months are required to register with the police https://selfservice.udi.no/ Do NOT book an appointment with the police at the end of the registration if you are handing in your documents through your University or College. 08.01.2019 Side 3
EU/EFTA-citizens Registration with the police Bring one copy of: Printout of the online registration form - No online registration - no registration from the police Copy of the ID-page in your passport (colour if possible) or both sides of the National ID card - Make a copy of the ID-document used for the online registration - Fill in ALL your names in the online registration Copy of your admission letter from UiO Copy of your EU health insurance card or private health insurance documents - Must be valid for the entire period you are an exchange student in Norway. The proof of health insurance cannot be a travel insurance. Financial statement, a self written statement that you have sufficent funds to sustain yourself while in Norway.
