Candidates must be proposed by 1% of students from within DCU (details on pg.3). To complete registration, in addition to this nomination form, the following documents must be submitted: An emailed copy of the Candidate s Manifesto (see below) Refundable deposit ( 50 for full-time positions, 25 for part-time positions) Completed nomination forms must be submitted to the SU Helpdesk (on behalf of the returning officer) on either campus on or before 3:59pm 23 rd 2018. This is the sole responsibility of the Candidate. Under no circumstances will late nomination forms be accepted. Manifestos All candidates must submit a manifesto alongside their nomination form. Your manifesto is an outline of your aims and objectives. Candidates are given the opportunity to meet with the Democracy and Development Officer to discuss their manifestos prior to submission. Email podge.sheehan@dcu.ie for more information. This can be done at the SU Helpdesk Campaigning may not commence prior to this time Java Room TBC Online voting open to all registration students on Loop Online voting closes at exactly 3pm Results will be announced no later than 7pm Data Protection Personal information collected from candidates and their campaign manager will be used for the sole purpose of correspondence throughout the election period.
