197 school administrators, 281 school teachers, 150 members of Parent Teachers Association, 80 lectures, 280 students, and 187 pupils have gained skills in the concept of peace education Establishment of 87 peace clubs in various schools across project LGAs and strengthening of 17 already existing peace clubs Formation of Peace Education Network (PEN) across project LGAs who presently serve as peace educators and tension managers within their localities. Rehabilitation and re-integration of 15 victims and 15 into the society. Setting up and establishment of a Trauma Healing Centre (THC) and Victim Support Scheme (VSS) in Jos North - over 50% of clients undergoing therapy at the centre have improved their wellbeing, 10 clients out of 78 receiving social health support have been reintegrated back into the society. 375 have benefitted from the centre with introduction of physiotherapy. Over 3000 men, women and youth gained skills in various skills out of which 21% gained employed, 30% became self-employed and 4% are using it for domestic purpose; 15 women were given grants with 13 of them presently doing well in their respective businesses in Plateau state Project title: PLATEAU WILL ARISE! To strengthen the architecture for peaceful discussion, dialogue, negotiation, mediation and mitigation of issues likely to lead to electoral violence as part of broader conflict prevention efforts INEC ADR staff capacity built through conflict mediation training and hands-on experience mediating electoral conflicts at the community level; Strengthened CSO capacity in the use of mediation to prevent and mitigate violence and in the organization of inclusive community peace events that build public support for peaceful participation of all electoral stakeholders; Improved political party and citizen access to and familiarity with conflict mediation platforms at the community level in selected areas identified as high risk; Enhanced awareness of INEC s ADR and the mediation services that they offer upon request; Increased public and stakeholder awareness of the conflict mediation techniques and tools available to mitigate conflict and electoral violence; Enhanced public knowledge and awareness of the dangers and impact of electoral violence on the electoral cycle. Training in mediation and conflict mitigation for INEC and CSO representatives ahead of deployment as mediators in community town halls; Provision of sub-grants and ongoing technical support to CSO partners conflict prevention efforts; Feeding into the existing Nigeria Election Violence Report (NEVR) analysis of electoral violence to identify hotspots and target programming; Organization of town hall meetings in areas at risk for electoral violence; Information sharing with INEC for use in voter education campaign and electoral security and logistics planning; Improvement of content and usability of NEVR website; Design and production of voter education materials promoting mediation and peaceful participation (radio jingles, posters, etc.); Organization of peace education programs across the six geo-political zones; Preparation and presentation of final report; Training of 60 participants drawn from INEC and CSOs partners on conflict management and Alternative Disput Resolution to build capacity of INEC and CSOs in preparation to be deployed to lead community-level town hall sessions that were organized in areas identified as being at high risk for political or electoral violence; Organizing of 72 town hall meetings in areas at risk for electoral violence led by the INEC ADR staff and CSO members who had been trained on ADR and Conflict Management helped in averting violence; Organizing of 5 election stakeholders' Round Table discussions which created a platform for to discuss issues that could result in electoral violence and ways they could be nipped at the bud. The round tables brought together party members who previously saw each other as enemies for discussion and peaceful deliberations; 19 Advocacy visits were paid to various key/influential stakeholders in order to prevent eruption of violence

Specific objectives are to enhance the capacity of national criminal justice officials to implement counter-terrorism measures in accordance with rule of law, with due respect for human rights, and with relevant international legal instruments and Security Council resolutions; to reinforce international criminal justice cooperation, especially with the Sahel; to Western and Central Africa sub-regions, as well as other neighbouring countries; to reinforce inter-agency collaboration, sustainability and ownership of criminal justice responses to terrorism among relevant national entities and to reinforce knowledge and analysis of relevant domestic legislation. Enhanced implementation of counter-terrorism legislation and good practices in accordance with the rule of law and with due respect for human rights; Enhanced capacity of Nigeria in international cooperation in criminal matters related to terrorism, especially in matters related to terrorism activities in the border area with Niger; Reinforced capacity of national entities for effective inter-agency collaboration, sustainability and ownership concerning criminal justice responses to terrorisms; Strengthened national legal framework against terrorism. Specific objectives are that the culture of non-violence in the region is enhanced through a collective, inclusive vision of reintegration and increased local capacities; an increased participation of community members in ensuring a peaceful and credible 2015 electoral process in targeted regions; an enhanced collaboration and communication between authorities and communities to increase level of security in targeted communities; an improved local decision-making through enhanced involvement of women in community governance and public affairs as well as capacity and knowledge to implement this kind of programming is reinforced. Community leaders and key stakeholders are trained and engaged in conflict transformation programming; Increased acceptance of non-violent methods for conflict resolution within target areas; Increased positive engagement and mutual acceptance for militant and non-militant youth; Citizens have increased awareness of rights and obligations of citizens related to the elections environment; Coalitions of stakeholders, including business, non-state actors, local, state and federal authorities are developed to achieve regional peace; Enhanced collaboration between communities and security units for Early Warning and Response to violence; Women leaders play an enhanced role in public decision-making and peace initiatives; Women play an enhanced role in facilitating the reintegration of ex-militants. Law enforcement agencies, such as the Office of the National Security Advisor, and specific activities will be supported. Reduction in radicalisation through community engagement; Reduction in radicalisation through engagement with prisoners and detainees; Communication programmes and specific targeted messaging to the population are enhancing the credible and rapid responses by the Government as well as raising public awareness of misconception of extremist ideology; Increased awareness of, and respect for, human rights in law enforcement operations; Improved coordination and information sharing among security agencies; Enhanced preparedness to respond in a coherent and ordered manner to security threats. Counter-radicalisation in communities, de-radicalisation in prison, strategic communication, human rights in military operations, fusion centre and operationalising CT legislation.
