PROVINSIE NOORD-KAAP BUITENGEWONE PROVINSIALE KOERANT, 6 AUGUSTUS 2013 No. 1719 5 To amend the Northern Cape Liquor Act, 2008, the Northern Cape Gambling Act, 2008, the Northern Cape Economic Development, Trade and Investment Promotion Agency Act, 2008, the Northern Cape Tourism Entity Act, 2008, and the Northern Cape Consumer Protection Act, 2012, so as to delete certain disqualifications to serve as functionaries of entities created by these Acts; and to provide for matters connected therewith. BE IT ENACTED by the Northern Cape Provincial Legislature as follows:- Amendment of section 9 of Act No. 2 of 2008 Section 9 of the Northern Cape Liquor Act, 2008 (Act No. 2 of 2008), is hereby amended by the deletion of paragraph (h) of subsection (1). Amendment of section 5 of Act No. 3 of 2008 2. Section 5 of the Northern Cape Gambling Act, 2008 (Act No. 3 of 2008), is hereby amended by the substitution for paragraph (d) of subsection (1), of the following paragraph: "(d) be a citizen of the Republic land ordinarily residing in the Province].". Amendment of section 8 of Act No. 4 of 2008 3. Section 8 of the Northern Cape Economic Development, Trade and Investment Promotion Agency Act, 2008 (Act No. 4 of 2008), is hereby amended by the substitution for paragraph (d) of subsection (1), of the following paragraph: "(d) be a citizen of the Republic [and ordinarily residing in the Province].". Section 28 of the Northern Cape Consumer Protection Act, 2012 (Act No. 1 of 2012), is hereby amended by the substitution for paragraph (d) of subsection (1), of the following paragraph: "(d) be a citizen of the Republic [and ordinarily residing in the Province].". Short title 6. This Act is called the Northern Cape General Law Amendment Act, 2013.
PROVINCE OF THE NORTHERN CAPE 6 No. 1719 PROVINCIAL GAZETTE EXTRAORDINARY, 6 AUGUST 2013 Tot wysiging van die Noord-Kaap Drankwet, 2008, die Noord-Kaap Dobbeiwet, 2008, die Wet op die Noord-Kaapse Ekonomiese-ontwikkelings-, Handle Is- en Beleggingsbevorderingsagentskap, 2008, die Wet op die Noord-Kaapse Toetismeentiteit, 2008, en die Noord-Kaapse Verbruikersbeskermingswet, 2012, ten einde sekere diskwalifikasies om as funsionarisse van die entiteite deur hierdie Wette geskep te dien te skrap; en om voorsiening te maak vir aangeleenthede wat daarmee in verband staan. DAAR WORD BEPAAL deur die Provinsiale Wetgewer van die Noord-Kaap, soos volg:- Wysiging van artikel 9 van Wet No. 2 van 2008 1. Artikel 9 van die Noord-Kaap Drankwet, 2008 (Wet No. 2 van 2008), word hierby gewysig deur paragraaf (h) van subartikel (1) te skrap. Wysiging van artikel 5 van Wet No. 3 van 2008 2. Artikel 5 van die Noord-Kaap Dobbehvet, 2008 (Wet No. 3 van 2008), word hierby gewysig deur paragraaf (d) van subartikel (1) deur die volgende paragraaf te vervang: "(d) 'n burger van die Republiek wees [en gewoonlik in die Provinsie woonj.". Wysiging van artikel 28 van Wet No. 1 van 2012 5. Artikel 28 van die Noord-Kaapse Verbruikersbeskermingswet, 2012 (Wet No. 1 van 2012), word hierby gewysig deur paragraaf (d) van subartikel (1) deur die volgende paragraaf te vervang: Kart titel "(d) 'n burger van die Republiek is (en normaalweg in die Provinsie woonagtig isi.". 6. Hierdie Wet heet die Noord-Kaapse,Algernene Regswysigingswet, 2013.
