The Chair called for discussion of the motion. The Chair called for a vote on the motion; the motion carried by roll call vote 3-0. Minutes Mr. Stull moved to approve the Board Meeting Minutes of May 4, 2017 as presented; the motion was seconded by Dr. Anderson. the motion. Mr. Melton clarified page 3 under Unfinished Business will need to be updated from 145 lots to 140 lots. The President also requested the Closed Session be updated to correctly reflect the statutes under the Open Meetings Act on page 4. The Chair called for a vote on the amended minutes; the motion carried by roll call vote 3-0. New Members & New Meters Dr. Anderson moved to approve the New Members and New Meters list as presented; the motion was seconded by Mr. Stull. The Chair called for discussion of the motion. Ms. Horton advised we have eight (8) new members, one (1) new meter, and one (1) existing member. The Chair called for a vote on the motion; the motion carried by roll call vote 3-0. Customer Issues and Public Input None Board President Report Mr. Melton advised things have been calm from the Board side of business. Staff Reports See Attachment A The ICIP workshop is May 23, 2017 at 9:00 am to allow public input prior to the next Regular Board Meeting. We have a budget due soon and will need to present this in a Regular Board Meeting or during a special workshop. Mr. Melton is requesting a covered sound system for the office be considered in the upcoming budget. Ms. Horton advised we are going to have to purchase a new truck as we did have a truck that was totaled this year. Board Meeting Minutes May 18, 2017 Page 2

Ms. Horton announced that effective July 1, 2017 the wastewater system transfer from Dona Ana County will be complete Unfinished Business None Open Discussion Legal Counsel Josh Smith advised Judge Arietta s assistant has been contacted. She has requested the findings and conclusions proposed in both law suits and Judge Arietta has begun working on his review. Ms. Horton advised Mr. Peters is finalizing his retirement. Mr. Melton and the Board discussed pending water rights. Adjournment Mr. Stull moved to adjourn at 10:08 a.m.; the motion was seconded by Dr. Anderson.
