Important Information for delegates With just over two weeks to go until WFOT 2010 Congress, we would like to provide you with some information to help you get the most out of your congress experience. If you require assistance throughout the congress, please visit the Registration Desk and we will do everything we can to help you. IMPORTANT: Please ensure you bring a printed version of your name and organization as confirmed via email from the WFOT Congress Office. You will need to present it at the registration desk on arrival for collection of your congress materials. Collect your Delegate materials on Monday 3 May and enjoy a Free City Familiarisation Tour on the way! Plan to travel to the congress venue on Monday 3 May, to collect your registration and delegate materials early, and on the way enjoy a Guided City Familiarisation Tour. There will be regular coaches departing on Monday afternoon from three locations to the congress venue so that delegates can avoid the rush of registering and collecting materials on Tuesday morning. There will also be Briefing sessions on Monday afternoon, to help you get the most out of your congress experience what s on, how to read the program, description of the sessions you can participate in, social events and other networking opportunities. The transport schedule is as follows: Bus Depart from three locations 1. Teatinos 120 - Plaza de la constitucion - Metro Station La Moneda 2. Plaza Italia - Metro Station Baquedano 3. This will help you relax and enjoy your congress experience. Abstracts will be provided on CD Rom for all delegates on arrival at the congress. If you wish to have hard copies of abstract with you at the congress to review, we suggest that you print selected abstracts from the website prior to arrival.

Please note that Friday s sessions will begin at 9.30am (Tuesday Thursday begin at 9am) to allow people to enjoy the Congress Dinner on Thursday evening. Simultaneous Translation: All Keynote Presentations, Orals, Short Orals, In-congress workshops and the WFOT Business Meeting will be simultaneously translated. Standard, Prime and Guided Poster sessions will be held in one language only, as indicated on the programme. Certificate of Attendance and Presentation Please collect your Certificate of Attendance from the Registration Desk after 12pm Tuesday 4 May. If you are a Presenter, a Certificate of Presentation will be given out to you at the end of your Presentation. Room Capacity As the capacity of some rooms are limited (particularly in-congress workshop rooms), delegates will be allowed access on a first come first served basis. After all the seats have been filled in a room, no other delegates will be permitted to enter. Therefore we advise that you arrive early at sessions that you particularly wish to participate in, and also select a second preference for each session time, so as to avoid disappointment. How to get to/from the Venue Shuttle Buses Daily shuttle buses are provided to and from the congress hotels and the congress venue each morning and evening. Transport is also provided from congress hotels to the Congress dinner venue. There will be signs with bus numbers and colours for each of the three areas for participants to easily identify which bus will take them back to their hotels or original pick-up points. Virtual Forum To encourage participation for international students who are not able to attend the WFOT Congress 2010, there will be Virtual Forums designed to allow participation and interaction with the presenters through an online Forum at WFOT. For more information go to www.boletinto.cl Congress Volunteers Congress Volunteers are the happy smiling faces you will see brightly clad in yellow Congress shirts when you arrive or at the bus departures points at the hotels. They are there to provide information, direct you to sessions and ensure that your experience at WFOT 2010 is a happy one! Daily Newsletter A newsletter will be circulated daily containing latest news, review and updates. Make sure you pick one up on your way to sessions, to find out about program changes, and other important news to make the most out of your Conference day. Tours Santiago is an exciting city with so much on offer. If you wish to book tours, please visit OTSI at the Tour Desk at the Congress. A number of tourism brochures will also be available at the Registration Desk. Education Day and Pre-congress workshops If you are registered to attend Education Day or Pre-congress workshops you will receive a separate email within the next few days with detailed information about the sessions and instructions of how to get to the venue. If payment has not been received by the commencement of the Congress, you will be required to pay in cash/credit card/ certified bank cheque OR provide a credit card as guarantee if your organisation is sending payment on your behalf. Cash can be accepted in either USD or CLP (exchange rate $.00185USD = 1 CLP) All outstanding fees must be finalised and received before attending any session at the congress.
