DICK & JANE WEEK SPONSORSHIP PACKET 2017
OUR IMPACT EMPOWERING STUDENTS THROUGH SONGWRITING The Dick & Jane Project is a 501(3)c non-profit organization based in Columbus Ohio. The Project, founded in 2010, hosts collaborative workshops where middle school students are partnered with local musicians and producers to create radio-ready songs. The students write the lyrics and the musicians transform their words into song. Using music as the catalyst, The Dick & Jane Project inspires students to want to write, an experience that lasts far beyond our workshops. Dick & Jane Week takes place September 30 - October 8, 2017. We partner with local music venues, businesses, bands, organizations, and individuals to organize events around Columbus to raise funds and awareness for The Dick & Jane Project. Money raised during each event goes toward funding songwriting experiences for the upcoming year. Our sponsors make it possible to reach more people, raise more funds, and create a bigger impact.
