David Wall offered comments on 2.9, Storm Sewer Service Charges, and Item 7.1. Action: Upon motion by Vice Mayor Herrera, seconded by Councilmember Jones and carried unanimously, the Committee approved the agenda including the following sunshine waivers, additions, and changes: add Items 1.x, "Presentation of a commendation to Ricardo Barajas..." to be heard in the evening, 1.x, "Presentation of a commendation to the Sikh Coalition...", and Item 1.x, "Presentation of commendation to Reverend Paul G. MEETING SCHEDULE (1) City Budget Calendar and City Council Meeting Schedule Update (City Manager) (a) Approve the following revision to the 2014-2015/2015-2016 City Budget Calendar: 1. Move the 2015-16 Capital/Operating Budgets and 2015-16Fees and Charges Report adoption to June 23, 2015. (b) Approve the following revision to the January - June 2015 City Council Meeting Schedule: 1. Cancel the June 30, 2015 City Council meeting. (1) Consent Calendar Upon motion by Vice Mayor Herrera, seconded by Councilmember Khamis and carried unanimously, the Consent Calendar was approved and the below listed actions were taken as indicated. (a) Approval of the Vietnamese Heritage Flag Raising at Half-Mast Sponsored by the Mayor's Office as a City Council Sponsored Special Event to Expend City Funds and Accept Donations of Materials and Service for the Event. (Mayor) 1. Retroactively approve the Vietnamese Heritage Flag Raising at Half-Mast scheduled on April 30,2015 as a City Council sponsored Special Event and approve the expenditure of funds; 2. Approve and accept donations from various individuals, businesses or community groups to support the event; and 3. Recommend a one-week turnaround to May 12, 2015. so that the City's Legislative Advocate in Sacramento can indicate a support position for SB 377 (Beall).
