Member for Edmonton-Beverly-Clareview, made a statement recognizing Movember, a month-long campaign held in November 2010 to raise awareness and funds for prostate cancer. Mr. MacDonald, Hon. Member for Edmonton-Gold Bar, made a statement recognizing Alessandro Simpatico of Edmonton, a 2010 Great Kids Award recipient, for his work in raising funds and awareness for kidney disease. Ms Woo-Paw, Hon. Member for Calgary-Mackay, made a statement regarding several community events being held in Calgary in November 2010. Mr. Rodney, Hon. Member for Calgary-Lougheed, made a statement recognizing the work of KidSport Calgary in helping children to participate in organized sports. Mr. Mitzel, Hon. Member for Cypress-Medicine Hat, made a statement regarding a 15,000 donation presented by Consul Bernd Reuscher on behalf of the City of Grimma, Germany, to the Medicine Hat Community Foundation to provide assistance to victims of a flood that took place in southern Alberta in June 2010.
