ANNUAL BOARD MEETING MARCH 24, 2016 SUMMARY OF MINUTES The AUSTIN PATHWAYS Board of Commissioners Public Meeting Notice was posted for 12:00 noon on Thursday, MARCH 24, 2016, to be held at HACA s Central Office, located at 1124 S. IH 35 Austin, Texas. CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL, CERTIFICATION OF QUORUM The Board of Commissioners meeting of the AUSTIN PATHWAYS of MARCH 24, 2016, was called to order by Carl S. Richie, Jr., Chairperson, at 12:19 p.m. It was held at HACA Central Office, located at 1124 S. IH 35, Austin, TX. Roll call certified a quorum was present. MEMBERS PRESENT: Carl S. Commissioner Carrington seconded the motion. The motion passed. (4-Ayes, and 0- Nayes). REPORTS Overview and update on the Austin Pathways strategic plan and Amplify Austin campaign Catherine Crago, Strategic Initiatives and Resource Development Manager, reported that the Austin Pathways Amplify Austin donations amount received to date is $32,040 from 206 donors. This amount is nearly double the amount from the 2015 campaign efforts. Ten Fundraisers set up a page, including one HACA Board Chair Carl Richie. The top 4 fundraisers brought in 50% of the total fundraiser donations and 30% of donors; 30% came from seed funds from Apartment Management Professionals, Inc., Italex, Inc., and Ryan Companies. The campaign was made up of a healthy mix of corporate, community, and employee donations. More than 70 employees gave and those employees helped bring in 93 additional donors. A social media campaign was conducted to increase the number of Likes, and the Austin Pathways Facebook page increased from 360 to 828. Of 612 Amplify campaigns, Austin Pathways ranked in the top 10% at rank #58 for online donations. In 2017, Austin Pathways aims to raise about $50,000 from 250 donors. It was a tremendous effort by all. Mr. Gerber recognized Shelly Masters with Cokinos, Bosien & Young, as being in the audience and thanked their firm for their contribution. ADJOURNMENT Commissioner Bailey moved to adjourn the meeting. Commissioner Robinson seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
