COMMISSION IMPLEMENTING DECISION of 31.7.2013 on the award of action grants within the framework of the specific programme "Civil Justice" Training of National Judges in EU Law (Call for proposals 2013) THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION, HAVING REGARD to Decision No 1149/2007/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 September 2007 establishing for the period 2007-2013 the Specific Programme Civil Justice as part of the General Programme Fundamental Rights and Justice 1, and in particular article 4(c) thereof. HAVING REGARD to Articles 133 (2) of Regulation (EU, Euratom) No 966/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2012 on the financial rules applicable to the general budget of the Union (hereafter referred to as the Financial Regulation ), HAVING REGARD to Article 204 (5) of Commission Delegated Regulation No 1268/2012 of 29 October 2012 on the rules of application of Regulation 966/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the financial rules applicable to the general budget of the Union (hereafter referred to as the Rules of Application ), HAVING REGARD to the annual work-programme 2013 of 22 November 2012, published on the website of the specific programme Civil Justice, and the Call for Proposals 2013 on Action Grants, published on the website of DG, HAVING REGARD to the unanimous favourable opinion by the Advisory Committee, pursuant to Article 11 (2) of Decision No 1149/2007/EC, Whereas: (1) An Evaluation Committee was appointed pursuant to Article 204 (1) of the Rules of Application. (2) An evaluation was carried out pursuant to Articles 133 (1) and (2) of the Financial Regulation and 204 (1) of the Rules of Application. (3) The attached Evaluation Summary Reports (ESRs) contain all the information required under Article 204 (5) of the Implementing Rules. 1 OJ L257, 3.10.2007, p.16. EN 2 EN
HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION: Single Article (a) The budgetary ceiling for grants under the above mentioned call for proposal is EUR 800.0000 (b) Applicants listed in Annex I ("List of succesful applicants ") may receive a grant for the implementation of their respective proposal up to the maximum amount set out in the same annex, subject to the signature of a grant agreement. (c) Applicants listed in Annex II ("Reserve list") are considered rejected by lack of budgetary appropriations. In case additional budgetary appropriations become available those applicants may be contacted (following the ranking order) and informed - at the latest by 01/10/2014 - that they may receive a grant for the implementation of their respective proposal, up to the maximum amount set out in the same annex, subject to budget availability and signature of a grant agreement.
