I announced we are looking for volunteer(s) for the Eastern Chapter President-Elect position, Scholarship and Nominations Committees. We have a few eastern chapter members looking for CPCS study buddies for upcoming exams and we are trying to get people motivated to get together! We had roundtable discussions on current happenings within hospitals. Our next meeting will be on March 13 th, 2015 at Othello Community Hospital. We partnered with Elizabeth on her survey of which NAMSS recorded webinars the group was interested in and offered to show the second webinar at our next meeting, which is: Contracting & Credentialing: The Good, the Bad, and the Oh So Ugly. Shannon Carlson, our sec/tres has been working with Accuconference on the ability to share webinars to our teleconference groups! We will demo this at our Othello meeting. The Western chapter approved sponsoring a gift basket for the 2015 WAMSS conference in Yakima, with a limit of $150. In the absence of any volunteers, I will do it. Rachel Ward, our chapter secretary, has created an email account specific to Western chapter officers and board members to share information: western.chapter.wamss@gmail.com.
