I recently arbitrated (as sole arbitrator) a claim involving the transportation of very large objects by sea and land. The issues involved excess costs and delays as a result of alleged lack of co-ordination and planning among the various participants in the process. I have been involved in rate renewal arbitrations, one involving a pipeline and one involving a commodity terminal. J.
