Syrian Immigration and Passports Dept. Issued Conditions Obstruct the Renewal of Travel Documents for Palestinian Refugees Abroad Checkpoints of the Regular Army and Public Front prevent the entry of urgent aids to Yarmouk camp for the fourth day, respectively. Signs of easing of the suffocating living crisis experienced by the refugee of Khan Al Sheih camp. Clashes broke out in Qudsia town at Damascus city. A delegation of American women visits shelter center for Palestinian refugees in Kls city in Turkey.

Recent Updates The Department of Immigration and Passports in Syria issued regulations about the renewal of Syrians and Palestinians of Syria passports who are residing outside Syria. The regulation, which the Action Group had a copy of it,, and made by the Department of Immigration and Passports to its branches and departments in Damascus and other governorates on the basis of the Letter No. 2184 / A on 3 / 5/2014, states that starting from the previously mentioned date, the actions will start by renewing Syrian citizen passports for six months and non-renewable. The regulation included the following categories: the residents who are outside, and escaping from military service, those who reside abroad but do not have residency, and those who reside abroad and are wanted for security checks or a notification for any security agencies. The regulation confirmed that those who seek issuing passports and are wanted for arrest or have any security judicial are not allowed to renew their passports, unless they return to the country and settle their matters. Consequently, many Syrians and Palestinian of Syria refugees who left Syria for many reasons will be denied issuing Syrian passports, which exposes them to the risk of deportation or imprisonment in countries that they have migrated to, escaping from the hell of war in Syria. It is worth mentioning that the internal conflict in Syria opened a new phase that touched their tragic repercussions, as the Palestinian Syrian refugees life, after they found themselves in the midst of this conflict, coincided with the restriction and disruption of many of their legally rights. The ministry of high education, in 2012, excluded the Palestinians from applying to the Competition by a decision of the competent minister, in a clear violation of the law (260) on 1956. Meanwhile, the Syrian president also excluded the phrase (and who are similar) of the scientific missions Law, which he issued previously, and contrary to what was customary. The recent amnesty, issued by Bashar al-assad, on the occasion of his election as president of Syria, also did not include the Palestinian of Syria detainees, which launched the fears and concerns of the seriousness

of taking Palestinian refugees rights away, and to change the official policy towards their presence on Syrian territory. On the other hand, the checkpoints of the regular army and groups of the Popular Front - General Command continue, for the fourth day respectively, to prevent the entry of any aid to trapped people in Yarmouk camp in Damascus, due to clashes and sniping in the Alrigha yard and Rama Street at the place of aids distribution, which resulted in the death of a number of civilians. In terms of the living aspect, the living crises is still continuous, as the camp suffers of the running out of all food and medical supplies due to the ongoing siege imposed by the regular army and groups of the Popular Front - General Command for 392 day respectively, causing an out of all the food and medicine supplies and led to the death of 154 victims as a result of lack of medical care and the blockade. On the other hand, Qudsia town in Damascus city witnessed violent clashes between the Syrian opposition and the Syrian national defense forces yesterday. The clashed spread a state of horror and fear amongst the residents of Qudsia. It is mentioned that 3750 families are displaced to Qudsia from the Palestinian camps especially from Al Yarmouk camp. The Qudsia residents suffer of sever living conditions due to the high prices and unemployment because they don t have an income for most of the residents, and they were forced to rent houses that are expensive because of the high rate of request. All these conditions caused economic crises besides their loss of their houses and properties in the Palestinian camps. A calm state spread in Khan Al Shaih camp for the Palestinian refugees in Damascus city conceded with the signs to open the Zakia road in Khan Al Shaih and not to be exposed to shootings. In addition to the flour in the camp after the residents suffered of bread crises due to the security situation and the cut of the road that connects the camp with Damascus city.

Civil Work Committees The Palestinians of Syria committee in Lebanon participated in a solidarity sit in that called to by the Palestinian civil Organizations, the Palestinian Fishermen Committee and the Fishermen League in Sidon. The sit in was organized on Wednesday, 13th August 2014 in front of the Sidon port in support with the stead fasting of the Gaza Strip people and its heroic resistance and to insure the rights of the Palestinian people of breaking the siege, the port and the freedom of fishing are on the top. The sit in was attended by a number of fishermen, the fishermen of Sidon, the Palestinian factions and the mass media. The solidarity sit in in Sidon In Turkey, a delegation of American women visits shelter center for Palestinian refugees in Kls city in Turkey. The delegation carried out a round in the camp and met with lots of women of Palestinian of Syria Refugees and the delegation was briefed about the experience of women in sewing. The delegation discussed of the women about their experience especially in traditional sewing that the Palestinian women are famous for. In addition to the ability to change the gift into a living source that help the Palestinian woman and her family. The work will return the Palestinian woman back to her role in dividing the suffering of displacement side by side with the man.
