Coca-Cola Zero/Quickie OTTAWA SENATORS * Contest Complete Contest Rules ( Contest Rules ) HOW TO ENTER NO PURCHASE NECESSARY 1. The contest begins on Monday, October 14, 2013 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, daylight savings adjusted as applicable ( ET ) and ends on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET, the contest close date ( Contest Close Date ). To be eligible to win the Prize (described in section 3 below) in the Coca-Cola Zero /Quickie OTTAWA SENATORS * Contest (the Contest ) entrants must visit a participating Quickie Convenience Store location in the Ottawa, Ontario Region in order to obtain a code word (the Code ) found on the in-store Contest displays. To enter the Contest online, visit www.ottawasenators.com/cokezone and complete and submit an online entry form, making sure to include the Code. Any personal information submitted on an entry form, or elsewhere, will be used for the purposes described in section 14 below. Limit one (1) entry per person per day. In the case of multiple entries in a single day, only the first entry will be considered. All entries must be received no later than the Contest Close Date. WINNER SELECTION 2. At 11:00 a.m. ET on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at the Canadian Tire Centre in Kanata, Ontario, one (1) eligible entrant will be selected by random draw from all of the eligible entries received to win the Prize, subject to the terms and conditions contained herein. PRIZE 3. There will be one (1) prize (the Prize ) awarded to the Contest winner (the Winner ) consisting of: (i) twelve (12) tickets in a luxury suite (suite location to be determined by the Contest Sponsors (as defined below)) to watch the Ottawa Senators home game against the New York Rangers on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Canadian Tire Centre, and (ii) a $500 food and non-alcoholic beverage catering credit to be used in the suite during the game. The approximate retail value of the Prize is $2,000 excluding taxes and applicable fees. The Winner must be able to attend the game on January 18, 2014 or the Prize will be forfeited. No substitute tickets or dates will be provided. All costs and expenses not specifically described above as part of the Prize, including without limitation: meals and/or snacks exceeding the catering credit, any alcoholic beverages, gratuities, insurance, personal expenses, taxes and
transportation to and from the game, and parking costs are the responsibility of the Winner and his/her guests. The Winner may claim his/her Prize at Canadian Tire Centre located at 1000 Palladium Drive, Kanata, Ontario 5 days after he/she has been successfully contacted and notified of his/her Prize, has complied with these Contest Rules and has signed and returned the declaration and release described in section 12 below. ODDS 4. The odds of winning the Prize depend upon the total number of eligible entries received by the Contest Close Date. GENERAL 5. In order to be eligible to win the Prize, you must first correctly answer, without assistance or mechanical aid, the mathematical skill-testing question on the online entry form, and otherwise comply with these Contest Rules. 6. The eligible entrant selected in the random draw will be notified by telephone no later than Thursday, December 12, 2013. If the selected eligible entrant cannot be contacted by telephone by such date or does not return the declaration and release (described in Contest Rule #12) by the date indicated on the correspondence from the Contest Sponsors, the selected eligible entrant will be deemed to have disclaimed his/her right to be declared the Winner and will forfeit the Prize. If such an event occurs, the Contest Sponsors will award the Prize to another selected eligible entrant. 7. This contest is conducted by Coca-Cola Refreshments Canada Company, Capital Sports & Entertainment Inc. ( Ottawa Senators ) and Quickie Convenience Stores Corporation (collectively, the Contest Sponsors ) and is open only to residents of Ontario and Quebec who are eighteen (18) years of age or older and who live within an 80 km radius of the municipal limits of the City of Ottawa. Employees (including persons with whom they are domiciled) of: (i) Coca-Cola Ltd., Coca-Cola Refreshments Canada Company, their affiliates, licensors, associates and authorized bottlers and distributors of Coca-Cola products, participating banners; (ii) Quickie Convenience Stores Corporation and its participating locations; (iii) Capital Sports Properties Inc. ( Canadian Tire Centre ); (iv) Capital Sports & Entertainment Inc. ( Ottawa Senators ), and each of their respective agents or representatives, or their respective affiliates, subsidiaries and related companies, and their respective advertising and promotional agencies as well as employees (including persons with whom they are domiciled) of any reuse or recycling depot, are not eligible for entry in the Contest. Submissions through groups and/or charities will not be accepted.
8. By accepting the Prize, the Winner agrees to the use of his/her name, address (city/province of residence only) and/or photograph, without payment, in any subsequent publicity or advertising carried out by the Contest Sponsors. 9. None of Coca-Cola Ltd., Coca-Cola Refreshments Canada Company, their affiliates, licensors, associates and authorized bottlers and distributors of Coca-Cola products, Quickie Convenience Stores Corporation, Capital Sports Properties Inc. ( Canadian Tire Centre ), Capital Sports & Entertainment Inc. ( Ottawa Senators ) or their respective agents or representatives or their respective affiliates, subsidiaries and related companies, (Collectively the Released Parties ) shall be responsible in any way for the use of or bear any liability whatsoever in any way attributable to the Prize awarded in this Contest. 10. All entry forms become the property of the Contest Sponsors for any and all purposes and will not be returned. None of the Released Parties will be responsible for any entry forms delayed, stolen, misdirected, illegible, lost or destroyed. In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Contest is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but, not limited to, fraud, virus or other technical problem, the Contest Sponsors may, in their sole discretion, either: (a) suspend the Contest to address the impairment and then resume the Contest in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Contest Rules; or (b) award the Prize in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. The Contest Sponsors reserve the right in their sole discretion to disqualify any individual they find to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of these Contest Rules or any other promotion, or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, the Contest Sponsors reserve the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. The failure to enforce any term of these Contest Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. In the event of a dispute as to any online entry, the authorized account holder of the email address indicated when registering a screen name will be deemed to be the entrant. The authorized account holder is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. RELEASE AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY 11. Except where prohibited, by participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of the Prize, including, but not limited to: (a)
unauthorized human intervention in the Contest; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or telephone or network lines; (c) printing errors; (d) errors in the administration of the Contest or the processing of entries; (e) late, lost, or undeliverable mail; or (f) injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant s participation in the Contest or receipt of the Prize. Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Released Parties liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Contest and in no event shall the Released Parties be liable for legal fees. Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages. If for any reason an entrant s entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant s sole remedy is another entry in the Contest; provided that if it is not possible to award another entry due to discontinuance of the Contest for any reason, the Contest Sponsors at their discretion, may elect to hold a random drawing from among all eligible entries received up to the date of discontinuance for the Prize offered herein. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded. In event that production, technical, seeding, programming or any other reasons cause more than stated number of prizes as set forth in these Contest Rules to be available and/or claimed, the right is reserved to award only the stated number of prizes by a random drawing among all legitimate, un-awarded, eligible prize claims. 12. The selected eligible entrant must first sign a declaration confirming his/her understanding, compliance with and acceptance of the Contest Rules and acceptance of the Prize, and a release of all liability satisfactory to the Contest Sponsors before being declared the Winner. 13. The Contest Sponsors retain the right, in their absolute discretion, to make substitutions of equivalent kind or value in the event of the unavailability of any component of the Prize for any reason whatsoever. By entering this Contest, entrants consent to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal information for the purposes of administering the Contest. This Contest is subject to all Federal, Provincial and Municipal laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law. Decisions of the Contest Sponsors are final and binding with
