1) The above proforma costs cover: Volunteer entitlements payable to UN Volunteers, eg. Volunteer Living Allowance, Settling-in-Grant, Resettlement Allowance and Family Allowance (only for regular volunteers). UN Volunteer Assignment Costs (eg. medical and life insurance premiums, training and orientation, travel (assignment, home visit and repatriation costs) and UNV Volunteer Management related costs eg. deployment charge and recurring charge). All above costs are charged to the host entity. -Well-being differential is not included in these figures but is an entitlement for UN Volunteers serving in duty stations classified as hardship duty stations as per the International UN Volunteers Conditions of Service[1] and ICSC Hardship Classification. Non-Family Duty Station A = US$ 500 per month; Non-Family Duty Station B = US $1,000 per month. -Accommodation Supplement is not included but can be requested by UN Volunteers who face exceptionally high accommodation rental costs due to market distortions at their duty station. Visa extension and residency fee are not included but can be requested by UN Volunteers during their assignment period. 2) Residential security costs are charged directly to the project/host UN agency at actual cost and are twofold: (1) costs dependent upon the duty station to implement Residential Security Measures (RSMs). Funds should be budgeted to cover these expenditures; and (2) any possible security relocation/evacuation related charges. 3) Additional security charges are payable for UN Volunteers serving with UNDP/UNV/UNCDF. 4.5% of MLA for family duty stations and 6.5% of MLA for non-family duty stations. 4) Rates are subject to change based on the annual consolidated Post Adjustment Multiplier (PAM) rates, monthly variation of PAM rates and UNV annual global charges. 5) Proforma rates indicated above are for capital-based duty stations unless otherwise indicated in the table.
