Dr. C. (Cor) J. van Montfort Short Biography Dr. C. (Cor) J. van Montfort (1961) studied political science and wrote at the Utrecht University his dissertation about civil society and institutional reform (1996). At the moment he is program manager at the Netherlands Court of Audit, and associate professor at Tilburg University in The Netherlands. In his research work his focus is on public private partnerships and public entrepreneurship, and on the future of the national systems of health care, pension provision and housing. Recently he started for the next three years a project about sustainable cities and public private partnerships. He chaired national commissions on codes of good governance in child care and higher education. From 2007-2012 he was head of the sections Public private sector and Education, Culture and Science at the Netherlands Court of Audit. From 2012 to 2014 he was visiting fellow at the Scientific Council for Government Policy (www.wrr.nl) and responsible for advisory projects on cross overs between the systems of housing, care and pension provision and checks and balances in the semi public domain.
