Whereas the minimum rate of wages for unskilled, semi-skilled, skilled and highly skilled categories of employees in 88 scheduled employments were fixed/revised by the Government in Labour & ESI Department Notification No. 6502 LL-I(AR)-1/15-LESI., dated the 24th July, 2015 published in the Extraordinary issue No. 1112 of the Odisha Gazette, dated the 24th July, 2015 bearing S.R.O. No. 323/2015; And whereas, the State Advisory Board in its 50th meeting have advised to adopt a system of revision of Variable Dearness Allowances (VDA) @ Rs. 0.90 per point rise in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from the date of notification of revised wages, to be effected from 1st April of every year, starting from the 1st April 2017; And whereas, the Government of Odisha in Labour & ESI Department Notification No. 2019, dated the 9th March 2017 has declared the revision of Variable Dearness Allowance to Rs. 0.90 per point rise in All India Consumer Price Index Number (Base 2001-100) from the date of Notification of the Revised Wages to be effected from 1st April of every year and accordingly the Labour Commissioner, Odisha has published Notification for payment of V.D.A. @ Rs. 7.20 w.e.f. the 1st April 2016 vide Notification No. 3905, dated the 6th April 2017. No subscription for any particular part of the Odisha Gazette/Extraordinary issue of the Odisha Gazette exclusively will be entertained. (A) The revised annual subscription of the entire Odisha Gazette (all parts) including Extraordinary issues of the Odisha Gazette has been fixed at Rs. 1,456. 00 without postage and Rs. 2,122. 00 from the 1st June 2002 with postage. (B) The revised rates per issue of all the parts of the Odisha Gazette is fixed at Rs. 28. 00. The Odisha Gazette will not be available for sale partwise. (C) The cost of the Extraordinary issues of the Odisha Gazette has been revised to Rs. 2. 60 without postage per page and the postal charges will be added according to the weight, if ordered for by post. Original document (Such as acknowledgement of submission of tender and original affidavit,) shall be submitted in the sealed boxes inscribed the Bid Identification No. 10 MIDJEY of 2017-18 kept in the office of the Executive Engineer, M. I. Jeypore & office of the Asst. Executive Engineer, Minor Irrigation Subdivision, Koraput from the 26th February 2018 to the 27th February 2018 during office hours on working days (i.e. 10-00 A.M. to 5-00 P.M.). The undersigned shall not be responsible for any postal delay and/or non-receipt of the original bid document on or before the specified date and time. 19. Bids received Online shall be opened at 11-00 Hours on the 28th February 2018 in the office of the Executive Engineer, Minor Irrigation Jeypore in the presence of bidders who wish to attend. Bidder who participated in the bid can witness the opening of bids after logging onto the site through their DSC. If the office happens to be closed on the stipulated date of opening of bids as specified, the bids will be opened on the next working day at the same time and venue. 20. GOVERNMENT OF ODISHA FINANCE DEPARTMENT RESOLUTION The 2nd February 2018 SUBJECT Benefit of Compassionate Grant to the police personnel of the State Government who become operational casualties caused by factors such as snake bite, elephant attack, electrocution, malaria, accidents and such other hazards during the course of anti-lwe operations. In Finance Department Resolution No. 17772 Pen.-181/2017-F., dated the 6th June 2017, the benefit of Compassionate Grant has been allowed at revised rate, to different categories of employees who are victims of LWE violence has been made effective from the 1st January 2017. During the course of anti-left Wing Extremist (LWE) operation the police personnel face operational casualties such as snake bite, elephant attack, electrocution, malaria, accidents and such other hazards. After careful consideration of such aspects it has been decided that the benefit of compassionate grant will also be extended to the police personnel who become operational casualties due to factors like snake bite, elephant attack, electrocution, malaria, accidents and such other hazards during and in the course of anti-left Wing Extremist operations.

This order shall come into force with effect from the 1st April 2016. The amount of compassionate grant will be at the rate applicable in accordance with the prevalent Finance Resolution No., that is Finance Department Resolution No. 17772 PEN-181/2017-F., dated the 6th June 2017 from the 1st January 2017 and the concerned Finance Department Resolution for the period from the 1st April 2016 to the 31st December 2016. 4. Relevant provisions of the Orissa Civil Services (Compassionate Grant) Rules, 1964, are deemed to have been modified to that extent specified in forgoing paragraphs.
