Should largescale industrial agriculture (no-till, agrofuels, biochar, GM plants) be considered a carbon sink? This event examines arguments and evidence. A different approach to climate policy: The optimal balance between mitigation and adaptation Damages from climate change can be reduced through both mitigation and adaptation. An efficient approach integrates these two options, and identifies the optimal distribution of mitigation and adaptation efforts through space and time.
