Yes, it was created in 1915 and revised several times, last in 2016 Number of registered members As of May 2016 82 Number of paying members 82. Copenhagen and Skive 28.04.16 Celebrated our birthday, in Copenhagen with a meeting on The consequences of war, with a women from Syria In Skive with a meeting with refugee families from Kurdistan, talk about Women, peace and security. Apart from this we have written to the government and the media about the way we treat our refugees and asylum seekers, and 1325 participated in demonstrations etc. Project Kvinde til kvinde (woman to woman) in former Yugoslavia Woman in Black demoes every month Which issues in the International Programme 2015-2018 does the Section s activities mostly link to? Human Rights, Disarmament, Women, Peace and Security We would like to know how the Section works with the International Programme 2015-2018 in your local context. Please describe three concrete activities performed since 1 May 2015: Activity example 1 What did you do: April 28 th, 101 years anniversary: Had an evening in KVINFO, The Danish Center for Gender, Equality and Diversity, with a lecture about the history of the Danish section from 1915 and a Syrian refugee woman, who told about her situation as asylum seeker in Denmark and her work here with traumatized refugee women and violated Danish women. What was the outcome: One new member + a very interested and questioning audience How did you communicate about the activity to your members or your surroundings: mail/letter and homepage, twitter, face book How did you advocate about this activity to public: homepage, twitter, facebook. How did you follow up the activity: we are planning more similar activities. 4

In the case the Section cannot reach its potential, what are the limiting obstacles? 1. National politics: No grants from the government 2. Media: The medias are not especially interested in the peace movement 3. NGO working environment 4. We have been in the situation where to few are active. Luckily we now have some young members so there s hope. How does the Section collaborate with other WILPF Sections? In a Nordic network + meetings within the European sections How does the Section collaborate with WILPF International? Primarily via our IB member Please describe how the Section has used the WILPF 2015 Manifesto in the Section s work since it was adopted at the Centennial Congress in April 2015? Do you have any partnering organisations? Local organisations/ngos: Kvinderådet/Women s Council & KULU/Women and Development Communications Who within the Section read the newsletter Membership News created by the International Secretariat? 2 of our 3 presidents Do those persons forward the newsletter to the members? No, as most of our members don t want information in English, but our IB makes abstracts in Danish 2-3 times a year, and it is on our homepage.
