Click It, Win It! Campaign Terms & Conditions For the purpose of this Campaign s terms and conditions, "Maybank" collectively means Malayan Banking Berhad (Company No.: 3813-K) and Maybank Investment Bank Berhad (Company No.: 15938-H). 1. Campaign Period The Click It, Win It! Campaign ( Campaign ) will commence from 1 September 2018 until 30 November 2018 (both dates inclusive, Campaign Period ). 2. Eligibility a. This Campaign is open to all individual clients of Maybank who already owns an existing cash account, margin account or non-margin account with Maybank for purposes of trading of shares listed on Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad via the said account(s) ( Eligible Clients ). b. The following persons shall not be eligible to participate in the Campaign: i. Corporate and institutional clients of Maybank; ii. Permanent and contract employees, representatives and agents of Maybank (including its subsidiaries and/or related companies) and the immediate family members (i.e. spouse, children, parents, brothers, sisters) thereof.
3. Campaign Mechanics a. To participate in the Campaign, an Eligible Client Customer will need to download the Maybank Trade mobile trading application ( Maybank Trade ) and carry out one or more of the steps/actions listed in the first column of the table below during the Campaign Period. For each step/action performed, the Eligible Client will be awarded corresponding lucky draw entries as set out in the third column of the table below. Each Eligible Client will be entitled to a maximum of ten (10) lucky draw entries during the Campaign Period. Where the Eligible Client has multiple accounts with Maybank, the account with the highest number of lucky draw entries will be selected for the draw. c. The total lucky draw entries of each Eligible Client will be calculated at the end of the Campaign Period.
4. The Prizes are non-transferable and are not exchangeable for cash or vouchers and will only be given to the winners as verified by Maybank ( Winners ). b. All Prizes and values stated herein are correct at the time of printing. Prize images shown in any marketing and advertisement materials are for illustration purposes only and may vary in certain aspects from the actual Prize received. c. Maybank reserves the sole and absolute right to substitute any prize with any other item(s) of similar value which Maybank will notify the Winners through any method of communication that Maybank shall at its absolute discretion decide. 5. Selection of Winners a. Winners of this Campaign will be selected via an automated selection system in accordance with the provisions of this Clause 5. b. The Winners of the Campaign will be notified on the last week of January 2019. c. The Winners will be contacted individually via telephone or they shall be informed by their respective dealers at the contact number provided to Maybank. d. The Prizes shall be given to the dealer of the Winners. The Winners will need to collect the Prize from their respective dealers. e. In the event Maybank is unable to contact the Winner(s) at the contact number provided or registered with Maybank for reasons including, but not limited to, no reply, number not in use, no connection, etc. Maybank may at its discretion make a second and third attempt to contact the Winner(s) within the same day of the first attempt. If the second and third attempt are unsuccessful, the Winners shall be disqualified from this Campaign and shall not be entitled to any Prize. f. In the event the Winner(s) would like to collect his/her Prize directly from Maybank, he/she shall collect his/her prize fourteen (14) calendar days from the date he/she has been notified by his/her dealer or when his/her name is published on www.powerbroking2u.com.my, failing which the Prize will be forfeited after fourteen (14) calendar days after the names are published and Maybank will have the right to retain possession of the Prize. g. Maybank shall not be liable and/or responsible for any loss of or damage to the Prize once it has been received and/or collected by the Winners.
h. Maybank reserves the right to request relevant documentation or written proof of identification, age and place of residence of the Winners prior to the collection of their respective Prizes. i. Maybank may at its absolute discretion reserves the right to select other Eligible Clients as substitute of any Winner(s) who becomes ineligible or disqualified for any reason whatsoever without any reasons thereto throughout the Campaign Period. 6. General Terms and Conditions a. Maybank reserves the sole and absolute right upon giving reasonable notice to alter, shorten, cancel, suspend or terminate this Campaign or any part thereof within twenty one (21) through any mode in the absolute discretion of Maybank. b. For the avoidance of doubt, the alteration, shortening or suspension of the Campaign Period or the suspension or termination of this Campaign by Maybank shall not give rise to any claim or compensation by you or any other persons whatsoever against Maybank for any losses or damages suffered or incurred as a direct or indirect result of the alteration, shortening, cancellation, suspension or termination. c. Maybank shall not be liable for any losses, damages or cost incurred or suffered by any clients as a result of your participation in this Campaign. Furthermore, Maybank shall not be liable for any default of its obligation under this Campaign due to any force majeure event which includes but not limited to the act of God, war, riot, lockout, industrial action, fire, flood, drought, storm or any event beyond the reasonable control of Maybank. d. The terms and conditions of this Campaign shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia. e. Maybank may at its discretion disqualify/reject any participant who does not comply with these terms and conditions stated herein and/or found or suspected of tampering with this Campaign and/or its process or the operations of this Campaign. Tampering shall include fraudulent activities involving any act of deceit and/or deception and/or cheating with regards to this Campaign and/or Maybank Group s social media platforms. f. Any such variation of any of the terms and conditions herein shall be binding on you and be deemed to be brought to your attention through any notice displayed at Maybank s website. g. By participating in this Campaign, you agree and consent to allow your personal data being collected, processed and used by Maybank in accordance with Maybank Group s Privacy Notice, which may be viewed on www.maybank.com.my, as may be revised or amended or supplemented from time to time ( Maybank s Privacy Notice ). In addition and without prejudice to the terms in the Maybank s Privacy Notice, you agree and consent to his/her personal data or information being collected, processed and used by Maybank for: i. the purposes of this Campaign; and ii. Marketing and Promotional Activities (as defined below) conducted is such manner as Maybank deems fit in any media including but not limited to any form of advertising or publicity media and materials such as audio and/or visual recordings published through newspaper, television network, radio stations or online and digital media and on the Internet, without further express consent from you. h. Marketing and Promotional Activities include without limitation the use and/or publication of any details provided in and/or in connection to the entries, interviews material as well responses and related photograph. In this regard, you agree to co-operate and participate without further express consent and/or payment or consideration, in all
reasonable advertising and publicity activities of Maybank in relation to this campaign. You agree that Maybank has the right to publish, broadcast, televise, distribute, use or otherwise reproduce your post(s) on social media in relation to this Campaign without having the need to obtain your prior consent. Notwithstanding the foregoing, you hereby permit Maybank to publish and/or use your photograph and/or image(s) for Marketing and Promotional Activities, if so required. i.
