ISSUING DEPARTMENT: RECREATION AND CULTURE SUMMARY Issues: Shall the City Council approve Resolution No. CC 2015-026, a resolution of the City Council of the City of Palmdale, approving the application with the California Department of General Services (DGS) to Acquire Federal and State Surplus Property? Recommendation: Staff recommends that the City Council approve Resolution No. CC 2015-026, a resolution of the City Council of the City of Palmdale, approving the application with the California Department of General Services (DGS) to Acquire Federal and State Surplus Property Fiscal Impact: There is no fiscal impact associated with this particular action. BACKGROUND This application with the Department of General Services (DGS) is an administrative action to renew the City's designation as an eligible recipient of federal and state surplus property, which was previously authorized in 2011 by the Palmdale City Council and has since expired.

CERTIFICATION REGARDING DEBARMENT, SUSPENSION, INELIGIBILITY AND VOLUNTARY EXCLUSION - LOWER TIER COVERED TRANSACTIONS This certification is required by the General Services Administration regulations implementing Executive Order 12549-41 CFR l 05-68 for all lower tier transactions meeting the requirements stated at 41 CFR 105-68.110.
