No. 50841/367/A2/PC.V96, dated: 05-07-1997. *** ORDER : In the G.O.lst read above, orders were issued implementing the recommendations of the P.R.C 1993 with effect from 1st January, 1993 with monetary,.benefit from 01-04-1993. In pursuance of the Agreement reached between the Government and Employees Associations the Revised Pay Scales were implemented from 01-07-1992., however, with monetary benefit from 01-04-1993 vide G.O. 3rd read above Government have also issued other procedural instructions from time to time vide G.O.s 5th read above have appointed an Anomalies Committee, pursuant to the agreement reached with the Service Associations, under the Chairmanship of Sri B.N. Jayasimha, IAS (Retd). The Committee has since submitted its Report to Government. 2. Government have examined the recommendations of the Anomalies Committee in detail. 3. Government after careful consideration hereby order that the revised pay scales as indicated against each category in the Annexure appended to this order shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from 01-07-1992, however, with monetary benefit from 01-04-1993 and shall be subject to fulfilment of the conditions indicated in column 5 against the concerned category. The pay in the revised pay scales shall be fixed in accordance with the principles laid down in the G.Os 1st and 3rd read above and subsequent orders/instructions thereon governing the fixation of pay under the Revised Scales of Pay Rules, 1993. In other words the pay shall be regulated in the new revised scales of pay as if the pay in the Revised Pay Scales is fixed as on 01-07- 1992. 4. Government have also decided not to entertain any grievances for the rectification of any alleged anomaly arising out of the recommendations of the Anomalies Committee in the wake of Constitution of Pay Revision Commission. 5. In respect of Special Pays and other allowances, orders will be issued separately.

6. In respect of Non-Teaching Employees of the Universities, orders will be issued separately. 7. All the Heads of Departments and Departments of the Secretariat are requested to take immediate steps to implement these orders. 8.
