He is also Guest Lecturer at the Department of Political Science at the University of Copenhagen. Alex is doing research on the Responsibility to Protect (in particular authoritarian states and the R2P norm), on the Intellectual History of the Discipline International Relations (in particular the European 20 th Century theoretical traditions in IR), and on realist approaches in IR and Foreign Policy Analysis. He is co-editor and co-author of a 9 Volumes Book Series Trends in European IR Theory (published with Palgrave Macmillan). Alex organizes workshops, panels and roundtables, and he presents paper at the Annual Conferences of the International Studies Association (ISA), British International Studies Association (BISA), European International Studies Association (EISA), World International Studies Committee (WISC), or Deutsche Vereinigung für Politikwissenschaft (DVPW).
