ALASKA STATE LEGISLATURE THIRTIETH LEGISLATURE FIRST SESSION Juneau, Alaska Tuesday April 4, 2017 Seventy-eighth Day Pursuant to adjournment the Senate was called to order by President Kelly at 11:10 a.m. The roll showed twenty members present. As we pause in a moment of reflection this morning, let us consider others in great need today, so many people all over Alaska doing their best to make this a good place to work and enjoy, and our need to rise to the most noble within us to serve our people. Join me in prayer. God of all creation, giver of life and redeemer of our souls: we come before you with thanksgiving for the blessings of freedom, life and our responsibility in serving our people. Guide us with your wisdom and grace as we do our best to work through the issues before us this session. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ the LORD. Amen.
