SECURITY FORUM 2018 44 CICA June 05 07, 2018 Cracow AIM OF THE CONFERENCE The Conference is cyclical and intended to create interdisciplinary/ transdisciplinary forum for exchange of thoughts in the area of security sciences. This edition is organised in cooperation with CICA, which is an international organisation associated in the Union of International Associations. CICA was established 35 years ago in Spain as Coloqiuos Internationales sobre Cerbero y Agresion. The aim of this organisation is to support the peace process. For years, CICA participants have created a wide-ranging platform for exchange of thoughts, information and research reports on violence, terrorism, peace, conflict from the point of view of various perspectives. In recognition of their activities CICA was honoured with the UNESCO prize in 1989; CICA members are founders of such organisations as: ISRA (International Society of Research on Aggression), TSR (Society for Terrorism Research). Until now CICA meetings have gathered approximately 2,000 scientists from various parts of the world. So far, CICA has been held only twice in Poland, in Zakopane (2008) and in Zielona Góra (2014). Conflict and aggression The conference will be supported by simultaneous translations (Polish, English). Nauka-Praktyka-Refleksje (6 pts. granted by Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education) articles in Polish and congress languages. The Scientific Board of the Conference decides on publishing an article in a particular journal.

INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS 1. Articles should be submitted via e-mail to cracowsecurity@apeiron.edu.pl. 2. Articles must be written in Polish, Slovak, Czech, English, Ukrainian, Russian. The authors wanting to publish an article in a language different from the mentioned above are requested to contact the Editor. 3. Each paper should include: a) An abstract of maximum 100 words underlying the main points of the article. b) The title and 3 5 key words in both the original language and in English. 4. A short biography note of the author (name, academic or professional degree, job information, contact details) should be provided.. 5. Articles should be saved into a Word-compatible file (.doc,.docx,.rtf). Font type: 12 Times New Roman CE or an equivalent Cyrillic font; single space of 1.5 lines; standard margins (2.5 cm); alphabetic, numbered references at the end of the text. 6. A complete alphabetic list of references should be placed at the end of an article. Items in bibliography should be identical to the sources in footnotes. 7. Footnotes should be placed at the bottom of each page and follow the pattern provided below: a) For books: R. Rosa, Filozofia bezpieczeństwa, Bellona, Warszawa 1995. b) For articles from periodicals: S. Koziej, Bezpieczeństwo i obronność Unii Europejskiej, Myśl Wojskowa, 2005, no. 1. c) For articles in books: M. Kudelska, Filozofia Indii kilka uwag wstępnych, [in:] Filozofia Wschodu, t. I, B. For embedded quotes, use» «. 9. Pictures, charts and illustrations: 300 dpi.; additional copies of the pictures, graphs, tables, etc., should be submitted in a separate file. 10. The Editorial Board reserves the right to shorten and edit the papers. 11. We do not provide for payments. 12.
