Government Regulation Corporate Governance and Executives' Remuneration Restraint Mechanism of State - owned Enterprises JIN Xiao - yan School of Marxism Henan University of Technology Zhengzhou Henan 450001 China Abstract As an important part of incentive system of stated - owned enterprises the effectiveness of executives' remuneration restraint mechanism of state - owned enterprises is not only related to executives' enthusiasm but also influential in the long - term development of state - owned enterprises. Based on Principal Agent Theory Optimal Contract Theory and Managerial Power Approach the paper has analyzed problems in the design of executives'remuneration restraint mechanism in state - owned enterprises and summarized the causes for these problems from such aspects as inappropriate supervision mechanism informational asymmetry due to multiple principal - agents defective remuneration system and malposition of executive selection. Then the paper has arrived at countermeasures and suggestions for executives' remuneration constraint mechanism in state - owned enterprises from the perspective of government regulation and internal corporate governance restraint mechanism. Key words government regulation corporate governance Executives' remuneration in state - owned enterprises incentive restraint mechanism On the Relationship between International Migration and Economic Development Based on Empirical Data and Theoretical Reflections XIA Min LU Chun - long School of International Relations Renmin University Of China Beijing 100872 China Dean's Office China University of Political Science and Law Beijing 102249 China Abstract New classical economics believes that international migration can create a win - win situation for both developed and developing countries whereas the theory of the world system points out that international migration will deepen developing countries'disadvantageous dependence on developed countries. Data from the transnational empirical test clearly revealed limitations of the two theories on the nature and influence of international population movement. Polanyi's theory of two - way movement is significant in clarifying issues of international migration and economic development. Since labor force of production is embedded in the economic society international migration apart from it's positive influences upon bilateral economic development of both the source country and the target country may also bring negative impacts to the social economy of the target country. Therefore vigilance should be given to the damage and even reversion of our globalization evoked by international migration. Key words international population mobility economic development Polanyi two - way movement Binary and Triple - integration Thinking on the Difference of Chinese and Western Thinking Patterns from Audio - visual Perspective LI Chuang Foreign Literature Research Institute Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Beijing 100000 China Abstract Saussure's linguistic thought on the arbitrary combination of sound and meaning is a summary of western linguistic view and has formed the concept of voice center. This is caused by the expansion of binary opposition of voice - letters to the field of philosophy and binary opposition is exactly the basic position of western philosophy. The traditional binary dualism is an unequal view with a center - edge and domination - dominated mode whereas the secret logic track system developed by Chen Zhongmei is a balanced dualism. The theory of arbitrary combination of sound and meaning is not universal and cannot be applied to Chinese characters because Chinese characters' writing system is actually a comprehensive information system based on the image to express meaning with the assistance of sound. The difference between Chinese and Western view of language is that the former views language as a triple integration of image meaning and sound whereas the latter views language as an arbitrary binary combination of sound and meaning. It has created three identities for Li Qingzhao a graceful lady daughter - in - law the wife of a civil officer and a female poet. As a memorial work Epilogue for Jin Shi Lu has shaped a three - dimensional narrative space by incorporating the autobiographical facts mourn for her husband biographical facts mourn for the collections and historical facts mourn for the nation. As a milestone in the history of Chinese autobiography by providing a model of three - dimensional interactive narrative space the work has successfully put Li Qingzhao at the important position for landmark figures in the history of Chinese autobiography.
