The Governor informed the Board that he had been advised that an injunction had been obtained by the First National Bank of Canton, Pennsylvania, against the Comptroller of the Currency, and that the proceeding did not in any way involve the Federal Reserve Board, and therefore he had instructed General Counsel and officers of the Board to govern themselves accordingly. The action of the Governor was ratified. The minutes of the meeting of the Board held on May 2d were read and on motion approved. The minutes of the meetings of the Gold Export Committee held on May 3d and 5th were presented and approved, and the action therein set forth ratified. follows: Morning business was presented and disposed of as The Governor reported the purchase on May 2d, of special 2A certificate of indebtedness of the United States for $1,000,000 for the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, for deposit with the Comptroller of the Currency as collateral for
