Flashing ellow Arrow and ight Turn Overlap Seems like we keep getting stuck on Flashing ellow Arrow discussions, but here s one more When there are pedestrian crossings and we want to have a ight Turn Overlap, we usually use the adjacent Left Turn Phase to drive the TOL. When we are using FA on the Left Turn, we cannot use the A to drive the TA because when clearing the thru phase, the A appears again. This would cause the TA to inappropriately appear when the adjacent thru movement goes yellow. February, We use the Standard Mode setup for Flashing ellow Arrow. The Compact Mode will not work. On the Four Section Left Turn Head: The A, A, FA are driven by the Overlap load switch. The GA is driven by the Left Turn Phase (,,, or ) load switch. On the Five Section ight Turn Overlap Head: The,, G balls are driven by the thru phase load switch. The TGA is driven by the Left Turn Phase (,,, or ) load switch. The TA is also driven by the Left Turn Phase (,,, or ) load switch. Monitoring of the TA is done on the same channel as the Left Turn GA and the TGA (phase,,, or ).
