Economic Development Incentive Grant : A public hearing to consider the award of an economic development incentive grant pursuant to G.S. 158-7.1 and the Waxhaw Downtown Small Area Plan Incentive Grant guidelines to InteliChart, a software company for the healthcare industry. The grant will not exceed $50,000 and will be payable in five (5) annual installments. The grant is based on the company s projected job creation of 50 jobs by the end of 2015 and ancillary economic development benefits. The source of funding for the proposed grant is general fund revenues. 5. Town Manager Search-RFQ : (RFQ Presentation by Consultant Sean Poccia- Daedal Consulting. Mr. Poccia will present a draft RFQ for adoption by the board to seek consulting firms to submit qualifications to assist in the process of seeking a new town manager.) TA-002067-2014 ( A request by the Town of Waxhaw Events Department to amend Section 8.2 (Definitions) and Section 13.9.10 (Murals) of the Town of Waxhaw Unified Development Ordinance to amend the definition of murals and the standards that regulate murals as signs. The proposed amendment includes changes to the approval process, the location and placement, the materials that may be used, and lighting of murals.) Public hearing held May 13 th, 2014. We will need a copy of the tree survey and notation of any changes since the survey was originally taken) Donation-JAARS: (Request by Commissioner Fitzgerald to make a donation to the JAARS Center for providing meeting location and lunch for board and staff on May 2, 2014 during the work session- Commissioner Fitzgerald) Project Manager Contract:(Discussion and possible action on renewing or providing notice of cancellation of Project Manager Nickole Branch contract through Integra Staffing, Inc.) Amend the Adopted Budget Schedule 2014-2015:(Action to amend the 2014-2015 Adopted Budget Schedule (adopted January 14, 2014) amending adoption of the budget to June 10, 2014 town meeting instead of May 27 th 2014.) Sanitation Fee: (Request by town staff for a decision involving sanitation fee for next year. Union County Tax Assessor s Office is requesting this information by June 1 st to start coding parcel numbers. Town staff is required to provide an excel file with parcel numbers for each lot that has a home on it. This requires research by the town tax department). 3
