1- POLICY QUESTIONS 1. Does your country have any specific strategy or plan with regard to transnational transport corridors? IF NO: Does your country have any future plans to develop and implement a transnational transport corridors strategy? Could you give the current state of play in your country in this regard? 2. Does your country have a managerial structure where private and public sector work together in terms of governance of the transnational transport corridors? 3. Does your country have agreements with neighbouring countries with respect to the transnational transport corridors? 4. Is there a separate organization/authority responsible for the planning and activities regarding the transnational transport corridors? 5

Could you give the current state of play in your country in this regard? Gambia There are plans to create a corridor management committee. Turkey Although there is no published plan or strategy with regard to transnational transport corridors, Turkey embraces a Regional Integrated Transport Corridors perspective which aims to develop a complementary approach towards main corridors in the region. This vision is based on; completing missing links on the main axes by large-scale infrastructure projects, removing bottlenecks especially on border crossings, promoting intermodal transport opportunities particularly on Trans-Caspian East- West Middle Corridor, enhancing logistics and corridor management capacities. 6
