Call for Papers The National Conference on Finance and Applied Economics will be held on 7-8 October, 2017 at Marathwada Mitra Mandal s Institute of Management Education Research & Training, Pune. The theme of the conference is theoretical The conference would deliberate on following broad themes, containing both conceptual & empirical work about recent and emerging developments. The areas mentioned below are only suggestive in nature, however the participants are welcome to send their research work across the topics. Publication All the selected papers shall be published in the book bearing an ISBN Number. Select outstanding papers shall be published in the journal bearing an ISSN Number. Themes A. Financial Institutions & Regulation B. Financial Reporting Analysis C. Financial Risk Management Much has been discussed about the and regulators in economic development and governance across the world. A parallel discussion regarding its autonomy or the encroachment is also being part of the academic discussions off late. The conference intends to contemplate on peregrination. With the volatility across the markets and a sort of policy dilemma on global scenario the investment decisions are becoming more and more complex. Hence is the role of reporting. The use of economic principles in substantiating the political agenda is increasingly becoming a vital part of academic dialogue. Industrial Economics contributing to the world economy and the workforce it employs, there also seems to be newer issues & challenges either being emerging or still being un-resolved to affect a larger demography across the globe. The conference invites conceptual works as well as case studies which can shed light on the allied topics. L. Environmental Economics/Climate Change & Financial Order In a situation when there seems to be no easy way out to resolve the challenges posed by the climate change and severe threats of increasing environmental depletion; the something that needs to be seriously dwelled upon. M. Gender Economics Over the last few years, the question of gender inequality in the economy has attained a prominent place in public and policy debates. The focus has been on women s participation in the labour force and within senior positions in organisations. While some progress has been made, women still remain to be underpaid, under-appreciated, under-utilized, and over-exploited. It directs the attention to the large socioeconomic costs of gender inequality. N.
