FALKIRK ARCHIVES Forbes of Callendar Papers finding aid Part 7 Political papers of William Forbes MP (1806-1855) This collection consists of 36m of records from 1531-1974. The records have been arranged into twenty eight series (see introduction for details) and the finding aid has been separated into these series to make it easier to download from our website. Part 7 consists of papers relating to the Conservative Party and political activities of William Forbes MP (1806-1855). William Forbes was MP for Stirlingshire, 1835-8 and 1841-55. Some vouchers of political accounts will be found among estate vouchers, see A727.3094-3235.
