ABA OFFICIAL REGISTRAR & HOUSING COMPANY The ABA has appointed Convention Data Services (CDS), a professional convention management company, as registrar and onpeak as the official ABA housing company for the 2015 ABA Midyear Meeting in Houston. CDS and onpeak will be the only source for registration and housing. All participants are required to register and pay (if applicable) the appropriate fees using one of the following methods: Online: www.ambar.org/midyear Fax: 508-743-9603 Mail: ABA/CDS/onPeak Houston 2015 107 Waterhouse Road, Bourne, MA 02532 Checks and money orders must be drawn on a US bank and in US dollars, made payable to ABA/CDS. For registration and event ticket information, call CDS at 800-915-9801, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST. Registration and hotel reservations and ticket requests cannot be accepted by phone. To make changes to or add additional items to an existing registration, send an e-mail message to abanet@xpressreg.net. Please include your CDS Badge ID number in all correspondence. Housing Warning onpeak is the only official housing service provider for the 2015 ABA Midyear Meeting. If you receive solicitations from other vendors (commonly referred to as pirates or poachers ), please do not provide them your personal information, especially your credit card number. If you cooperate with them, your credit card may be charged and you may not have a hotel room when you arrive at your destination. When the ABA secures sleeping rooms at hotels for its meetings (commonly referred to as room blocks), we research the properties to make certain that our attendees will be adequately accommodated. The room block is established to ensure that rooms meet our standards and are offered at a discounted price. We have been informed that registrants are often contacted by fax, e-mail or most often by phone with offers for cut rate housing. The intent is to convince you that the offer is made on our behalf, or that the soliciting company is a viable alternative to going through onpeak, the official housing service provider for the ABA Midyear Meeting. This is not true. Housing for the 2015 ABA Midyear Meeting is handled exclusively by onpeak.
