The Commission also directed MERC to place display advertisements for these hearings in the newspapers of record in the affected counties and other newspapers of general circulation in its service area. The Commission delegated authority to its Executive Secretary to approve these notices. The requested increase is approximately $14.8 million, or about 5.47% overall. Depending upon customer class and use, the actual percentage of any increase will vary. The requested increase would add about $3.50 to a typical residential customer s monthly bill. requested the rate changes described in this notice.
