1/8/2016 2:51:46 PM: Outbound Call (contact made) - Today Ashley (the CM), Steven (the MC), Corey and I had a conference call to go over Corey's SEO account. We discussed the rankings increase (we are currently at 16th and 17th spot, for pest control and termite control respectively). I sent Ashley, Steven, and Corey screen shots of the rankings, as the Reporting Dashboard had not been updated and our rankings were higher than what was being shown. It also did not show that we were targeting termite control, so I assured Corey that we were giving focus to that keyword and target Url as well. We went over the completed actions list; the blog entries, directory links, keyword links. Corey asked how much time was being spent on each different type of link that is built, and asked us to explain how his 15 hours were being allocated out across all of the tasks. I gave a brief overview of where the hours were being allocated to, and why certain tasks took a certain amount of time opposed to other tasks. Corey asked for a report of the actions completed, which Allen showed me how to compile. I let the three of them know that I would be sending that out to all three of them so that we were all on the same page about where the allocated hours were being used. Steven discussed that we would be able to re-allocate hours from certain tasks to others, but that it would have an effect on the SEO campaign. We then went over the campaign summary, showing the notes that I had entered, and the tickets that I had completed since our last call. I let Corey know that everything that I personally did on the account would be notated, so that he could view what I as the account manager am doing as well as the fulfillment team. Corey asked me if I thought the campaign was going well, I explained that for the account having been cancelled for a time (8/28-10/28), that I thought the rankings were improving at a good pace and that the campaign thus far has been successful. Corey did express a frustration with Dex and the program, and I reiterated that I would keep better notes of my actions on this account, and would try to gain the trust back. Allen (TL) at one point did come into the call to explain keyword link building to Corey, as I was unable to explain that type of link building in a sufficient manner. Corey had looked at a couple of the links, and we went over how the sites were chosen to link to and from. Allen explained how we chose the sites, how keyword link building was beneficial to SEO, and why it was a type of link building that would not be visible. Corey let Allen know that he would be doing some research on keyword link building as well, but that he was on vacation and would need to leave the call. Steven and Corey left the call at the same time. I then got back on the call and spoke with Ashley about the report I would be sending out containing the completed actions. I let her know that would be out before I left for the day. She and I went over the call in general, discussing everything that had been talked about with the 4 of us. She asked if I had any questions, I did not. I asked if she had any questions and she did not. I will be scheduling a time with my team lead to sit with me and go over the account so that we can try every possible option to get our rankings to improve.

2/5/2016 3:38:27 PM: Campaign Summary - Allen and I went over the SEO account. The site has not been black listed by Google, and the two target pages have been fully optimized. There is no duplicate content, and there is a sufficient amount of content. After checking on Screaming Frog, we noticed that the h1 tag on 28 of the Url's is the same, which Google takes to mean that there is not unique content on these Url's. I have ordered a sitewide meta, in which new h1 tags will be written up for the Url's, and since we have site access we can easily implement them. 2/19/2016 8:50:04 AM: Campaign Summary - The sitewide meta has been complete. I have sent the form to Ashley to send to Cory. Having unique h1 tags should be beneficial to the rankings, as Google will view every page as being unique to itself, yet still relevant to the business. Since it is a Dex site, we will be able to implement these. 2/19/2016 8:53:21 AM: Campaign Summary - The rankings have not moved around a lot. After Allen and I were able to take a look at the account, we realized that 28 pages have the same h1 tag. I ordered a sitewide meta, for new h1 tags to be written up for each of these pages, and Michalla got that back to me last night. Once we get those implemented, I will go onto Search, fetch and render so that the pages and the changes are indexed more quickly, and check to see if that has an affect. 2/19/2016 9:12:43 AM: Outbound Call (no contact) - Ashley is no longer the PCM for this account. Chuck Agee is the new PCM. I called and left a voicemail for him letting him know I wanted to discuss the SEO campaign, and that I need approval to implement the new h1 tags. I emailed him the doc containing all of the h1 tags, asked him to forward those to Cory, and let him know that if we do not hear back within 5 business days (2/26) I will send those in for implementation. 2/26/2016 8:56:09 AM: Outbound Call (no contact) - I called and left a voicemail for Chuck (the PCM) asking if he had been able to send the Reporting Dashboard link to Cory, as well as the sitewide meta for the duplicate h1 tags. 2/26/2016 1:05:12 PM: Campaign Summary - Since I did not hear back from Chuck (the PCM), I have sent in the list of h1 tags that need to be changed to the fulfillment team. I sent Chuck an email letting him know I had done so, and asked him to give me a call back so that we can discuss the SEO account. 3/10/2016 2:29:32 PM: Outbound Call (contact made) - I called and spoke with Chuck (the GCM). I let him know Cory had been requesting the Reporting Dashboard, but that I was not allowed to directly contact clients. I asked Chuck to send over the Reporting Dashboard, and to let Cory know that we had done the sitewide meta for his h1 tags. 3/22/2016 3:44:11 PM: Campaign Summary - The rankings have remained firmly grounded since the last month's check. The h1 meta has not yet been completed, but his may help. I re-allocated the link percentages and task hours. Moving ticket out, I will check in on the h1's next ticket date, and reach out to Chuck (the GCM) to see if he has heard from Cory. Next Steps: Over the next several months we will continue to monitor the progress of your keywords and rankings. As we see necessary, we will make adjustments to your campaign/keywords in order to continue to expand your online presence.
