Regent Kristin Cahn von Seelen was recognized for all her hard work in Philadelphia for the Regents who attended the seminar there. Jean Grainger, seconded by Rowena Van Dyke, moved to recess the BRGHI Meeting until Sunday morning October 9, 2016 CARRIED

Executive Committee Actions taken between the Semi-Annual Meeting April 2016 and the Annual Meeting October 2016 were approved as distributed. Kit Davis gave the Investment Committee report. The Board voted to accept recommendations of the Committee as presented. The Board voted to accept the Audit Committee composition as proposed by First Regent Helen Bragg Cleary: Hilary Gripekoven (Mrs. Price Gripekoven), Chair Rowena Van Dyke (Mrs. Jacob Van Dyke, Jr.) Avery Jenkins (Miss Winafrid Avery Jenkins), Treasurer Helen Bragg Cleary (Mrs. Richard S. 4935 Chair Hilary Gripekoven presented the Audit Committee report. The Board voted to accept the report as presented. Treasurer Avery Jenkins reported that the BRGHI had received a clean audit for the past fiscal year and gave the Investment Committee report. The Board voted to accept the report as given. Chair Betsy Peters gave the Governance Committee report. The Board voted to accept the Amendments to the By-Laws as presented and the Standing Rules update. The Nominating Committee for Officers Committee Report presented the slate for officer to serve the second year of a first term: Helen Bragg Cleary, First Regent The Nominating for Officers Committee Report presented the slate of new officers to serve a two-year term as follows: Nancy McAteer (Mrs. Thomas Knight McAteer) Margo Caylor, (Mrs. Robert C. Caylor) Vice Regent Secretary Assistant Treasurer Walton, Sis (Mrs. Jonathan T. Walton) to serve on the Nominating Committee. The Board voted to accept the slate as presented. There being no further business, the meeting of the BRGHI was adjourned.
