Bylaw No. 1598, 2012 (CONSOLIDATION) Page 1 THE CORPORATION OF THE DISTRICT OF COLDSTREAM BYLAW NO. 1598, 2012 A BYLAW FOR THE PURPOSE OF ISSUING MUNICIPAL TICKET INFORMATION FOR ENFORCEMENT OF MUNICIPAL BYLAWS WHEREAS the Community Charter authorizes a Council by bylaw to: a. designate those bylaws which may be enforced by means of a ticket prescribed by regulation; b. designate Bylaw Enforcement Officers for the purpose of enforcing bylaws by means of a prescribed form of ticket; c. designate an offence against a bylaw by means of a word or expression on a ticket; and d. set fines, not exceeding $1,000, for contravention of designated bylaws; NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the District of Coldstream, in open meeting assembled, ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. This bylaw may be cited for all purposes as "DISTRICT OF COLDSTREAM MUNICIPAL TICKET INFORMATION UTILIZATION BYLAW NO. 1598, 2012". 2. Bylaws listed in Column 1 of Schedule 1 to this bylaw, as amended from time to time, may be enforced by means of a ticket, in the form prescribed for the purpose under the Community Charter. 3. The persons appointed to the job positions or titles listed in Column 2 of Schedule 1 to this bylaw, are designated as Bylaw Enforcement Officers pursuant to the Community Charter, for the purpose of enforcing the bylaws listed in Column 1 of Schedule 1 opposite the respective job positions. 4. The words or expressions set forth in Column 1 of Schedules 2 through 12 to this bylaw, designate the offence committed under the bylaw section number appearing in Column 2, opposite the respective words or expressions. The amounts appearing in Column 3 of Schedules 2 through 12 to this bylaw, are the fines set pursuant to the Community Charter for the corresponding offences designated in Column 1.
