Board members present were: Steve Donovan, Kathleen Tischler, Bruce Thompson, Matt Yee, and Joe Reichard. Secretary s Report: Minutes were distributed & reviewed at the meeting. Motion was made by Brian Gorges and second made by Matt Yee to approve the minutes & post to the website. The motion passed unanimously. Treasurer s Report: Balance in the checking, savings & money market accounts as of 7/13/10 was $46,432.59. This amount includes payment of approximately $2500 as reimbursement for referee course fees. Justin Fleischmann will also receive payment of $250 for referee scheduling and payment of trophies occurred as well for approximately $3000. The registration fee transfer from the Rec Department, which took approximately four months, totaling approximately $23,000 occurred this month. Since we have $26,000 in savings, $8,000 - $9000 will be placed in CDs this month. Steve Donovan stated the importance of timely submission of legible receipts in order for reimbursement to occur. President s Report: In Bill Wolf s absence Brian Gorges noted that the state of the sponsorship renewal and signing of new sponsors was going very well. Risk Management Kathleen Tischler responded to a question raised by Scott DiGiorno regarding the necessity of medical consent forms. We will have parents of travel players complete them each fall and ensure each spring new players provide forms. Parents of existing players will confirm no information from fall has changed. A reminder was given that coaches need to submit clearances asap in order for the team to be registered at the end of the month & timing is dependent upon PA West. Kathleen Tischler updated the status of the security cameras on order for Ben Franklin where vandalism occurred over the July 4 weekend including a torn net and broken goal post. The goal post is expected to be able to be repaired with a repair estimate of over $120. Camera installation is expected to be this week with signage to follow. The association will pay the Ben Franklin PTO $1250 once the cameras are fully operational and will receive recognition of our donation once school is back in session. Referees Notification system of referees should be improved.

Travel Commissioner & Registrar Team formation is almost complete. The U11 boys teams still being finalized. First evaluation was held last Wednesday and conducted by Steve Donovan, Alan Duda, and Larry Shawn. After the second tryout to be conducted by Bob Straw and George Toomey, evaluators will finalize the information and players will be assigned to teams and rosters provided to coaches. The u13 Girls team roster is still being finalized and Tony Kozak and Chris Lawrence will be coaching that team this season. PR/Fundraising September 20 is the golf outing for benefitting BPSA. Discussion took place of regarding the possibility of a Chinese auction as an additional fund raiser. Brian Gorges made a motion to have the travel teams make up a basket in support of the outing with a contribution of $5 per player. The motion received a second from Joe Reichard and passed unanimously. Flights Options regarding photographers for the upcoming season were discussed. A request for proposal will be sent to vendors from Steve Donovan to cover flights and travel teams. All proposals will be evaluated and a photographer will be chosen for the coming season. Pictures should arrive by October 4. Commissioners will receive roster information by Monday, July 19 with a goal to have teams formed by July 30 to allow ample time for contacting players. Player contact should be done by August 13 deadline. Shirts will be ordered, printed, and distributed to commissioners for team distribution. Regarding bag tags vs. trophies for spring season, Flight 4 boys preference was for trophies which can be considered when ordering next spring. Millennium is currently in poor condition and Village Green has many ruts which need repaired.
