Barbuda Saint John Saint George Saint Peter Saint Mary Saint Philip Saint Paul FAST FACTS Capital: St. John s Independence from United Kingdom: 1 November 1981 Government: Parliamentary Democracy under Constitutional Monarchy Currency: East Caribbean Dollar Area: 443 km² Official language: English 2016 PassPro

LAND OF 365 BEACHES Famously said to have a beach for every single day of the year, Antigua and Barbuda is one of the Caribbean s premier destinations for those wishing to sail luxury yachts, trek through lush tropical rainforests and dive spectacular reefs and wrecks. A former British colony, Antigua and Barbuda retains strong links with the history, culture and language of Britain which continue to echo across its candycolored villages and imposing old forts. In 2015, Antigua and Barbuda opened the new USD 100,000 million VC Bird International airport, one of the most modern international airports in the Caribbean islands. The new airport further enhances the nation s profile as the most interconnected nation in the Caribbean, serving as the key international gateway to the Eastern Caribbean islands with direct flights from the US, Canada and Europe. Antigua and Barbuda s banking sector is the second largest in the Eastern Caribbean region, accounting for one-fifth of regional deposits, assets and loans. Antigua and Barbuda s educational sector has seen a growing interest in medical education and is home to the University of Health Sciences Antigua (UHSA) and the American University of Antigua, both of which attract medical students from outside the island nation.

WHY ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA? Antigua and Barbuda s Citizenship By Investment Program is among the newest in the Caribbean region, but it has fast gained popularity. Regulations governing the program are contained in Section 6 of the Citizenship by Investment Act, 2014. Benefits of Obtaining Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship A speedy and straightforward application process. Visa free access to 134 countries including Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, UK and the Schengen States. Antigua and Barbuda does not require you to renounce your current citizenship, allowing you to hold dual citizenship. Citizens need to spend only five days over a five-year period in Antigua and Barbuda, a condition that can be fulfilled either at once or separately. This gives you the freedom to secure permanent citizenship at your own convenience within the allocated time frame. Applicants can process spouse and additional dependents (dependent children under 26 years and dependent parents/grandparents over 65 years) as part of a single application. The local currency, the Eastern Caribbean Dollar, is pegged to the US dollar, giving you and your business financial benefits and security. Antigua and Barbuda is a member of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), offering the benefit of freedom of movement and employment (for skilled nationals) and Duty Free trading within the 15 Caribbean nations and dependencies. Antigua and Barbuda is a member of the United Nations and Commonwealth of Nations. No taxation on worldwide income.
