Analyst s Assessment: -This is the second monthly edition of the newly reorganized and improved informational statistics breakdown report. The changes made from the prior breakdowns were authorized and directed by the Department s Administration. - The Wet n Wild Water World remains closed for the season during this month, resulting in a significant reduction in police calls for service and case reports. - One MVA resulting in a DWI arrest produced two separate cases, and each are reported here separately. - A theft case regarding a vehicle impounded by APD was taken and mapped at the APD station. - The Warrants Officer made an arrest in El Paso City for an APD warrant, which is mapped at the APD station.
Analyst s Assessment:(Continued) - Cases occurring outside of the Anthony Municipal City limits are mapped at the APD Main Station for reporting purposes. - The Circle K had five misdemeanor cases and two felony cases this month. - The 7-11 had three misdemeanor cases and one execution of warrants case this month. - The La Feria had three misdemeanor cases, one MVA, and one information case this month. - The Big 8 had one misdemeanor case this month. - One Felony Poss. of Marijuana case was the result of a U.S.C.B.P. seizure at one of the international bridges in El Paso. APD assisted by accepting the case on behalf of the State of Texas. It is mapped at the APD main station.
Analyst s Assessment: (Continued) - The Flying J / Denny s had one misdemeanor case and one felony case this month. - The LOVE S / McDonald s had one MVA and one misdemeanor case this month. - The Pilot had one information case and two misdemeanor cases this month. - 4 of the MVA cases occurred on or adjacent to FM 1905. - 4 of the MVA cases occurred on I-10 or I-10 s access roads. - AISD and CISD produced a combined 19 cases this month. - The Anthony Parks had two information cases.
Analyst s Assessment: (Continued) - The Town of Anthony was victim to felony credit card abuse and a case was generated by APD, mapped at the APD station. - APD Officers participated in the Domestic Highway Enforcement grant which resulted in increased traffic stops and general police activity for this month.
