APPROVE SHARED SERVICES BETWEEN LAUREL SCHOOL DISTRICT AND LCCTC FOR ADMINISTRATIVE DIRECTOR SERVICES: It is the recommendation that the JOC approve an agreement with the Laurel School District for shared professional services. The Superintendent of the Laurel School District will serve as Administrative Director for the LCCTC. This is effective July 1, 2016 and can be renewed annually. H. APPROVE THE COURSE ARTICULATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN HARRISBURG UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY AND LAWRENCE COUNTY CAREER AND TECHNICAL CENTER: approve the course articulation agreement between Harrisburg University of Science and Technology and the Lawrence County Career and Technical Center.
Thursday, May 19, 2016 Page 5 I. APPROVE DISTRIBUTION OF HVAC REFUNDS TO SCHOOL DISTRICTS: approve the distribution of HVAC refunds due to the school districts based on their market value share. J. APPROVE SENDING THE OPENING AND CLOSING SKILLS USA TEAM TO NATIONALS: send the Opening and Closing Skills USA Team to Louisville, Kentucky for Skills USA National Competition. The team, along with two advisors, will leave on June 19 and return on June 25. Students are continuing to fundraise to help offset the expenses. K. FIRST READING OF NALOXONE POLICY NO. 823: It is the recommendation of the administrative director to the JOC that the Naloxone Policy be submitted for a first reading. No action needs to be taken at this time.
