Acceptance of Resignation Resignation of David Tulecki, Pool Supervisor at HHS, effective February 15, 2017. c. Approval of Employment Employment of Keith Welch, resident of Detroit, as a Lifeguard for the Recreation Department, $9.25 per hour, maximum of 35 hours per week, effective March 13, 2017. d. Approval of Employment Employment of Hasan Shelton, resident of Eastpointe, as a Tutor for the HOPE Program, $10.00 per hour, maximum of 15 hours per week, effective March 13, 2017. e. Approval of Employment Employment of Muntaha Al Washah, resident of Dearborn Heights, as a Title I Paraprofessional for Horizon High School, $12.00 per hour, maximum of 27.5 hours per week, effective March 13, 2017. f. Approval of Purchase Purchase in the amount of $16,500.00 from Edgenuity for User Licenses for Virtual Classroom at HHS. Funded with At- Risk funds. g. Approval of Purchase Purchase in the amount of $46,860.00 from Apple Inc. for computers in the graphic arts lab at Hamtramck High School, Funded through the CTE Program. 4

General Fund Board Report March 8, 2017 Agenda Item IX Action Items Attached hereto is a listing of invoices and checks now due for supplies, materials, equipment or services delivered or rendered to the School District. These invoices and checks represent purchases made or services ordered upon approved resolutions of the Board of Education for the current fiscal year. Where required or when possible, competitive prices have been obtained prior to placing orders, and where quality specifications permitted, purchases were made or services obtained at the lowest price quoted. Invoices examined and recommended for approval by the Board of Education. Thomas Niczay Superintendent of Schools RESOLUTION NUMBER 3 - APPROVAL OF INVOICES AND CHECK REGISTER RESOLVED, that the Check Register for the period February 9, 2017 through March 8, 2017 as enclosed, be approved. 6

RESOLUTION NUMBER 4 - APPROVAL OF EMPLOYMENT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education does hereby approve the employment of Marianne Livezey as an ELL Math Teacher at Hamtramck High School, step 2 for a Master s Degree, effective February 24, 2017. RESOLUTION NUMBER 5 - APPROVAL OF COMPETITION ATTENDANCE RESOLVED, that the Board of Education does hereby approve the request of the FIRST Robotics Team to attend the State Championship at Saginaw Valley State University April 12-15, 2017 and the FIRST World Championship in St. Louis, MO April 26-29, 2017. Attendance is dependent upon the team qualifying. 7

RESOLUTION NUMBER 6 - APPROVAL OF UPDATED FACILITY FEE SCHEDULE RESOLVED, based on the recommendation of the Recreation Committee and Superintendent of Schools, the Board of Education does hereby add Hamtramck Youth Organization Rentals to the Facility Fee Schedule as presented. RESOLUTION NUMBER 7 - APPROVAL OF BOARD BYLAW/POLICY REVISIONS RESOLVED, that the Board of Education does hereby approve the revisions to the following Board Bylaws and Policies: Bylaw 0100 Definitions Policy 7540 Technology Policy 7540.01 Technology Privacy Policy 7540.02 Web Content, services and Apps 8

RESOLUTION NUMBER 8 - SCHOOLS OF CHOICE APPROVAL RESOLVED, that the Board of Education does hereby direct Administration to implement Schools of Choice options 105 (within county) and 105 c (contiguous county) for grades K-12 during the 2017-2018 school year, following the timelines below: Applications for Kindergarten (Unlimited) will be accepted from April 10, 2017 through September 8, 2017 Applications for all other grades will be accepted April 10, 2017 through: o 1-2, 10 seats 1 st /10 seats 2 nd, ending August 18, 2017 o 7-8, 10 seats 7 th /10 seats 8 th, ending August 18, 2017 o 9, HHS Unlimited, ending August 4, 2017 o 10 11, HHS 10 seats 10 th / 10 seats 11 th, ending August 11, 2017 o 9 12, Horizon Unlimited, ending August 11, 2017 RESOLUTION NUMBER 9 - APPROVAL OF REVISED BUDGETS RESOLVED, that the Board of Education does hereby approve the Budget Revisions for the 2016-2017 General Fund and Sinking Fund as presented. 9
