Roll Call: Piechowiak, Aye; Rambo, Aye; Righi, Aye; Washburn, Aye; Wolff, Aye. 10-11-09 Approval and Signing of the Board of Education Meeting Minutes It was moved by Mr. Rambo and second by Mr. Piechowiak that the Board approve minutes of the October 18, 2010, regular board meeting, November 2, 2010, special board meeting and November 5, 2010 special/emergency board meeting. Adjust September 23, 2010, board meeting minutes: 10-09-22 Amendment to Lease Agreement to include a sketch of the additional property and new fence line. 10-11-10 Financial Statements, Cash Reconciliation and Investment Ledger It was moved by Mrs. Washburn and second by Mrs. Wolff that the Board approve the Financial Statements, Cash Reconciliation and Investment Ledger as presented. The 10-11-11 Authorization To Bid Van It was moved by Mr. Rambo and second by Mrs. Washburn that the Board authorize bidding for the purchase of a van. The 10-11-12 Authorization to Replace Transportation Department Radios It was moved by Mrs. Wolff and second by Mr. Rambo that the Board authorize replacement of our current Transportation Department radios to comply with the FCC narrow bandwidth mandate at a cost of approximately $17,250 utilizing Permanent Improvement funds. The 10-11-13 Authorization to Repair Boilers Central Office Building It was moved by Mr. Rambo and second by Mrs. Piechowiak that the Board authorize repairs of boilers in the central office building. Helm and Associates, Inc. $9,810.00 10-11-14 Out-of-State/Overnight Student Trips It was moved by Mrs. Washburn and second by Mr. Rambo that the Board Board approve the Maumee High School Indoor Drumline, the Maumee High School Winter Guard and their advisors be approved to attend Michigan Color Guard Circuit Competitions not to exceed five (5) trips per group with one of the trips being overnight for championships. Sites and dates to be determined by the Michigan Color Guard Circuit. Both groups will be combined for trips wherever possible. The 10-11-15 Gifts and Donations It was moved by Mrs. Wolff and second by Mrs. Piechowiak that the Board accept with gratitude the following gifts and donations. Color plotter/printer for making posters, blueprints and large signs ($100.00 value as estimated by donor) donated by St. Luke s Hospital to the Maumee City Schools. 18 dozen doughnuts ($107.00 value as estimated by donor) donated by Meijer s, Inc. to the Maumee High School Athletic/Activities Department for the October 28, 2010, Perrysburg football game bonfire. $750 donated by the Maumee Biddy Wrestling Program to Gateway Middle School to be used for the payment of five referees for the Dinkens Memorial Wrestling Tournament. Book ($14.99 value as estimated by donor) titled Judy Moody donated by the Gardner family to the Fairfield Elementary School Library.

5943 Book ($11.99 value as estimated by donor) titled Trouble According to Humphrey donated by the Mullins Family in honor of Sam Mullins birthday. Two books ($20.78 total value as estimated by donors) titled Judy Moody and Beyond the Spiderwick Chronicles donated by the Johnson Family in honor of Charlie and Greg Johnson s birthdays. 80 laptops ($1,500 total value as estimated by donor) donated by Ohio Virtual Academy to the Maumee City Schools. Dell 16 computer monitor ($25.00 value as estimated by donor) donated by Tracey Elmore to the Maumee City Schools. Two books ($49.90 total value as estimated by donor) titled The DaVinci Code and The Help donated by Jim Lowry to the Maumee High School Library. Book ($16.99 value as estimated by donor) title The Grimm Legacy donated by Adam Anderson to the Maumee High School Library. 31 CPUs, four monitors, one laser printer, one television, one Sony color rear video projector, one Dell Power Edge server w/o HD, one UPS and one laptop ($2,000.00 total value as estimated by donor) donated by Findlay Social Security Administration to the Maumee City Schools. Printing of 200 guest tickets ($45.00 value as estimated by donor) for the Hall of Fame induction ceremony donated to the Maumee High School Athletic Department by Maumee QuickPrint.
